"Today, I opted to order takeout. Unfortunately, I discovered hair in my food (chicken wings), which is why I am disappointed. I had started to enjoy this place, but now I will not be returning."

"This restaurant was very close to my hotel where I was staying in New York, and thus I had taken parcels from this place couple of times. The restaurant is kind of no-nonsense, with a very cheap price tags. At $6 one can get four pieces of crispy fried chickens with good amount of fried rice. Service time is really quick, even during the peak time too. Food is very average, to say the truth. If you like spicy food, you may find this place suitable to your needs.<br/ <br/ Overall, a nice budget place for some quick bites."

"Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi first began. It offers a great value with a diverse menu and has become a regular dinner choice for me. However, after trying sushi from other restaurants, I have to admit that it is not the best. Don't get me wrong, it is still really good and I sometimes crave a meal from Hewa, but its strength lies more in its variety than its quality. That being said, Hewa falls in the middle range, outshining lower-tier options but being surpassed by higher-end sushi places. I recommend Hewa for everyday sushi or Chinese food – it always delivers a satisfying meal."

"Decided to try their General Tso's Chicken based on a family recommendation. Ordered ahead. My order was ready. The owner was friendly and we spoke for a few minutes. Food tasted good my only disappointment is that the lunch 16 had fried rice instead of white rice when the website said that white rice was the default but other options are available. I also like that they have authentic hot mustard...you just have to ask for it!"

"We genuinely enjoy this place and often choose it for our go-to Chinese takeout and delivery. The prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. Honestly, what more could you want when you're craving General Tso's?"

"Fortune Cookie remains one of the top Chinese restaurants in Bridgeport. Although I don't eat Chinese food as frequently as I used to, I enjoyed dining there regularly when I lived in the West, starting around 1999. I still make occasional visits for their House Special Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, and General Tso Chicken. The service is quick and hassle-free, thanks to their longstanding relationship with the community. Plus, their prices are competitive with other fast food Chinese restaurants."

"I enjoy classic, thin-skinned wontons so I ordered a quart of wonton soup. The broth was tasty with a sprinkle of pork shreds and included 12 delicate wontons. We also ordered a serving of Dim Sum, which consisted of 6 dumplings that were tender and paired with a delicious sauce. Lastly, we had some well-cooked Edamame. Many restaurants typically serve wonton soup with a rubbery lump of chicken dumpling, which is usually undercooked and not actually a wonton."

"I work in the area and have ordered lunch with delivery service several times without any issues. However, on my last three occasions, including my most recent experience, the person who answers the phone tells me to hold on for a moment and then hangs up, preventing me from placing my order. This has forced me to seek food elsewhere. The owners should be aware of this situation, as one problematic employee could be causing them to lose many customers. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Thank you for the good service in the past."

"DISCLAIMER**They have no respect for their paying customers and it really shows when placing orders over the phone. Overcharging is a really disgusting tactic that this restaurant's uses to up-charge the community they service and it really makes the experience seem like casual greedy business I don't recommend this restaurant! I will never return to them for business. They have menus with different prices on them and then say one thing and they charge another price. Such as disappointment with them."

"I've been going to this restaurant for 5 to 8 years, and I've only had one bad experience with an order, but they quickly resolved it and even gave me some extras. The staff is excellent with customers, and the food is consistently fresh and prepared promptly. If you're ever in the uptown area, I highly recommend taking a 5 to 10-minute trip to grab a sub or some wings. Their mambo sauce is excellent compared to other takeout places. The young lady at the counter speaks English very well and is a pleasure to talk to. The prices are typical for a city takeout, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Whenever I'm in uptown, this is the only takeout I choose since Eddie's has turned into a bar."

"I rated New China Cuisine two stars because the food arrived hot, which was a positive. However, the flavor was mediocre, with dishes drenched in sauce that made them soggy and masked the taste. The service was disappointing as well, with staff appearing irritated and unfriendly toward customers. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant."

"We are visiting the area to experience the Total Eclipse and were searching for a lunch spot. We discovered Golden China and decided to give this family-owned restaurant a try. The freshly prepared dishes were delightful, and the service was excellent. The egg foo young and fried rice were exceptional, as was the General Tso's Chicken. They offer both takeout and indoor seating. We will definitely return!"

"We came here after seeing this restaurant on social and decided to try it out for dinner. Right off the bat, a key note it's not necessarily a latin-chinese fusion place. It offers just both cuisines. Service was great, we got seated right away at 7pm, and food came out quick. That being said from the Latin side we got the fried crackling chicken and pork chop, and the general two shrimp. Everything was great the chicken is an absolute must when dining in here. It's a very light fried chicken and you get a good amount for the price. All portions were decently sized for the price point. The only thing was the fried porkchops, where we got two with our order and one shown in the photos was wayy to done, really tough, almost burnt and really not that edible. So I'd stay away from those."

"Ultra-fast service, ample and large portions. Quality-wise, the food is reasonably tasty. Liked the Eggplant Tofu with Garlic, Singapore Fried Rice/Noodles Chicken Corn Soup here. [2017]Came here after a long time now in 2021 and gotta say its gotten even better over the years also don't forget to check out their Meal Specials had Eggplant Garlic Sauce Pork [over white rice] the portions are two meals worth, and the taste so good and filling it still lingers..Its as good in 2022, almost all of their lunch specials are satiating tried a brilliant Spare Ribs this time around..."
