"I loved this place!! This is like going to your grandma's type feeling when I ate the food. The ambiance was cozy and the type of place you go to if you want to relax, take your time to eat and talk. It is owner run and it looks they are doing multiple jobs at the same time so be prepared to NOT be in a rush. She was a wonderful host. I felt like I was at a friends home not a restaurant. Everything I ate was cooked from scratch and the seasoned well. The tea was loose leaf tea drawn which I loved. I have never eaten Burmese food so I can't tell you if it was good to that standard but, it was good to me. We were the only ones in the place at the odd time we went but, the food tasted like it should be packed. I forgot the names of what was ordered but I'll do my best to describe what was ordered. Cold tea tasted like sweat black tea was good, but for me in the future I would order it NO sugar because I don't like things sweetened. I prefer more bitter side of food. The hot tea was loose leaf drawn and tasted better than a regular tea bag. The Tamerind Curry dish was different with a tartness and it. I enjoyed it because it was all fresh vegetables. The slow cooked beef was tender. The two appetizers were yummy and one was so good I had three orders of them!! We ate two and I brought another one home. It did not reheat well so for future I know, not for left overs. I can't remember the name of the appetizer but it looked like falafels. I wish this place was closer I would go again. Gluten free and Wholefoods plant based options. I forgot the names of the dishes."
