"Checked out this quick service Japanese joint for lunch. I work Downtown and it is walking distance in a sort of small strip of casual restaurants off Elm Street. They have hibachi entrees, soft noodles, sushi, salads, and gyoza dumplings. For the hibachi, they have their daily special where you can get a choice of meat(s), with fried rice/noodles, vegetables, and a drink (can of soda or water) for between $7 $9 depending on meat choice.. Additionally, you can get the super combos which is the same but it's a meat combo (choice of two options) and comes with a vegetable spring roll for about $8 $10. A pretty good amount of food for the price. So this place is a good value. My husband and I selected the Daily special C. I got chicken and shrimp and he got chicken and steak. We decided to dine in and grabbed a table in the small eating area. The majority of people were getting their food to go. It is a well oiled machine in there. Workers were friendly and taking orders and getting food to people very quickly. Which is good as they mostly serving the Downtown office crowd trying to grab something quickly on their lunch break. While the serving size was absolutely plentiful, it was much more chicken than shrimp for my combo. The food overall just lacked flavor. The sauces help, which were good and available on ginger, white, hot sauce, and hot mustard, but the food was just lacking as far as taste overall. They were cooked fine. The Gyoza dumplings were piping hot and large, but again the filling was just a little lacking. If they took a little more time developing the flavor, even if it meant not getting the food out so quickly it would be worth it in my opinion."
