"The food was average and the prices matched. I was honestly disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Pollo Caprese, and the mozzarella slice was the smallest I've ever seen, with barely any pomodoro sauce. It was just okay, and we had hoped for something better. We all found the dish to be quite high in sodium, which added to our disappointment. On a positive note, our server was very attentive!"

"As much as I hate to give a bad review, this was the worst experience for my entire party of 8. We had a reservation at 645pm which we arrived on time too. Once seated, we were not greeted for over 10 minutes then told they’d be back with water which took at least 15 more minutes and quite a few hints to the waiters passing by. Eventually, they took our food order but never offered any drinks, we had to chase our old waiter down for a bottle of wine and still the remaining people in my party were never asked for other drinks. After a loooong wait for food, not a single plate was hot. I’m talking soup that was straight out of the cooler, cold and pasta that had no sauce and were soggy cold.,I would have had some sympathy if this was a full restaurant but we were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant, now I get why. Once we talked to the manager about our food being cold, she let us know the chef had left (it was hours before the place was set to close) and then proceeded to tell us how it’s best heated up in the microwave. And laughed with “hopefully you’ll enjoy it at home”. Would not ever recommend to anyone."

"Went to this location by Briarwood Mall on a Saturday evening around 6:30. The restaurant was not full and there were few people waiting, which seemed odd for a Saturday evening at dinner time. Our server took about 15 minutes to greet us after we were seated. She did not apologize for our wait and she did not bring water or bread with her. She did make sure she prepped the oil for our bread though which finally arrived about another 15 minutes later along with our waters in dirty glasses. Food took a while, and when it finally arrived, it was pretty tasteless. We had to wait forever for our bill, and our server never asked if we wanted it together or separate, so splitting the bill took another 10 minutes. Either our server had not been trained very well, or she just didn't care. The hostess was the only person cleaning tables on our side of the restaurant. She was trying to do a good job, she was actually running on several occasions. Very odd and disappointing experience. Arrived and were seated around 6:20 didn't leave till almost 8:00 because everything took so long. Would not go back to that location, and probably wouldn't be too keen on trying a different one either."

"We had reservations on 12/25/2019 for 3 people at 6:30 pm at the Macaroni Grill in HENDERSON, NV. The restaurant was slammed. When we arrived at 6:25 pm for our 6:30 pm reservation, we were told that reservations were running 30 minutes late and walk-ins had a one hour wait. We were seated at 7 pm. The servers were very busy and obviously exhausted but trying to remain cheerful. No one told our server that we had been seated, so our drink orders were taken about 15 minutes after we sat down. Our non- alcoholic drinks arrived about 15 minutes later. About 30 minutes after that, we had to flag down a server to ask for bread because it had not been served yet. We ordered our salads and entrees (two people in our party had to order a second choice entree because their first choice entrees were sold out) and our salads were served about 8 pm. Our entrees were served at 8:30 pm. Two steak entrees were very over cooked (were ordered rare and medium rare) and had to be sent back. The new steaks were both very rare and ****. The person who ordered his steak medium-rare could not eat his **** rare steak, so he did not eat dinner."

"Honey let me begin to tell you. It was Thanksgiving and quite busy. I called ahead because I had a set up for another restaurant which was closed. So knowing it is Thanksgiving, my party of 5 prepared to wait. It was understandably busy. The manager said I will get seated but the timing might be long. I arrived just after 5 and my reservation was for 5:30. We waited briefly and we were seated. We were given Macaroni bites to help cut the hunger until our food arrived. The manager and servers were excellent! Very accommodating and very friendly. The food: 2 spaghetti w/meatballs, a shrimp and chicken fettuccini, a salmon plate and a rosemary chicken pasta. The food rated a negative 10. First off, the unlimited soup arrived cold for 2 of the three that ordered soup. When it came back it was extremely hot. One person was given a spaghetti 20 minutes before the rest of the table was served. It was slightly warm and the pasta was dry and it was all stirred up. Had to search for the giant meatballs. Later 2 other plates arrived, one the fettuccine plate that lacked fettuccine.—-lukewarm. The other a spaghetti in a black plate that looked unclean. Assuming they were overwhelmed with the Thanksgiving rush, we accepted it. We were already starved. The present appeared someone had stirred in it as we had to search for the meatballs. It was lukewarm. The last dish arrived another 30 minutes later extremely hot. The chicken was rubbery and everything was overly seasoned with rosemary. It was so much rosemary in the chicken and pasta dish was served in the wrong bowl that it stunk. Because the manager and server were so apologetic and kind we could not complain to them. They offered free desert which my family accepted. I want you to know that we expected the wait time but did not expect the awful food. After the buzz of the restaurant calmed down we saw someone else’s spaghetti with 4 neatly lined meatballs and we could visibly see the sauce on it...NEVER again."

"We have always loved Macaroni Grill. Our normal restaurant in Grapevine has been closed we are very disappointed about it. Yesterday we drove some distance to the Lewisville store and remember why we always went. The food and service were both great. We will make the drive again."

"Stay away on holidays like Valentine's Day. Amazingly overbooked. Show up at 7:10 pm for a 7:15 only to sit at the bar for over 45 minutes. The lady checking off the names when checking in had heard so many complaints, she too was openly critical with her comments to coworkers without a whisper. An awful night all the way around. Leaving at 9:30, people were still stacked up and complaining."

"I had read the reviews prior to ordering here. I thought maybe people were just picky so I gave it a chance.The restaurant was empty, so I assumed my order would have been cooked properly. I was very wrong.My bruschetta had NO Basil, it was literally just diced tomatoes. In addition, my brussel sprouts were completly burnt black. I tried eating them but my family couldn't stomach the burnt taste. When you call, it just goes to voicemail.I paid $21 for the brussel sprouts and bruschetta and I totally regret it."

"I'm still stunned by Open Table's ineptitude. After checking Macaroni Grill's availability after a fire for months, I was surprised to see that they appeared as open when I recently checked again on Open Table. I of course made a reservation for that evening and got a confirmation from Open Table, but when I showed up at the restaurant I found it is still very much closed. I sent a note to Open Table to tell them about their glitch, and they responded with an apology. Now they just sent me a request for a review of the restaurant. Hello, Open Table, is anybody there?"

"This was likely our last visit to this restaurant. The food is good, but not exceptional. The staff is friendly, but there aren't enough of them, and there's a lack of organization when it comes to seating and managing reservations. We often experience crowded restaurants after church, but that wasn't the case here. It was busy at 12:45 on a Sunday, and the hostess seemed quite confused about where to seat us. We were taken to a far corner of the restaurant, and no waiting staff welcomed us. We sat for over 10 minutes, ignored by two other servers working nearby. Eventually, we had to flag one of them down to take our order. Everything moved at a snail's pace. The salads came at an additional charge of $2.50 for unlimited servings, but the one we received was drenched in oil dressing, even though I had requested ranch on the side. The waitress apologized and took it away. I ordered the custom pasta dish with broccolini. The pasta itself was good, but the only broccoli I got consisted of tough stems! We spent a total of two hours there, watching the restaurant remain two-thirds empty while we waited for our meals to be served. After reading previous reviews, I wish I had paid more attention to them. This restaurant really needs to get its act together."

"Our reservation was at 5:30 we were seated shortly after that. They were already running out of food from the Christmas menus but were not told until our order was put in. The same thing happened with the desert part of their menus. There were only 2 things left to choose from that was after we had already put our order in. Food was good though. It took the waitress almost 15 minutes to bring our check back with a bag. I had to ask another waitress to track her down. On our way out we stopped to use the restroom that wasn’t stocked. Handicap had no T/P the one next to it didn’t have much. I mentioned it to a girl on the way out, at the front desk, she didn’t seem too concerned."

"Although we made the reservation and called ahead as we were celebrating a retirement, we still had to wait to be seated. I could understand if they were busy, but half these restaurant was empty. They seemed to squeeze our table of seven into an area not made for that many people, again while half tdee restaurant was empty. I had to go back to the hostess and ask if someone was covering our table because no one had come to our table after sitting there for minutes. Someone who was not supposed to be our server ended up helping us the entire night. Food was okay, but it took a long time to get it and we were pretty frustrated by then. We had ordered a cake for the retirement and they never brought it to us, just the check. Was very disappointed when we spoke to the manager and all he said was that he had put a note on our reservation about the cake and didn't know why they didn't bring it. This is the second time we have had an experience like this at this location and I'm not sure we will go back."

"Our fault for making reservations on Christmas Day, but due to work schedules, we made them. The reservations were for pm and we arrived at pm to complete chaos. Understandable as it was one of only a few restaurants open today. We checked in and waited patiently. At around we touched base with the hostess again who advised that realistically we wouldnât be sat until By we were ushered to an incredibly cramped table littered with dirty plates and no silverware. Upon being seated, we passed the dirty plates to the host who told us they werenât dirty, just wet from the dishwasher. We pointed out the stuck on food and stray noodles and he reluctantly gathered the plates. Right after him, a young man named Robert came up behind me with a canister of forks and a canister of knives. He looked at me, but said nothing, and then walked away. Five minutes later, he returned and set the canisters down on the table and said, âHere, take these.â My sister noticed him for the first time and was confused and asked him to repeat himself. He replied, âIf you want to eat, you need to use these. Take them,â and then set them down in front of her and stood there staring at her. We were stunned. Shortly after, he left and our waitress finally arrived. We only spoke with her a short amount of time but she was lovely. She informed us that it would be at lease hours before the food would be ready. At that point, we had reached our limit. We called it, thanked her for her time, and left at p.m., hours after our reservations. We will never be back and quite honestly the only reason we booked it was due to the limited choices for open restaurants. As we were driving to the next restaurant (delicious, memorable meal, by the way), I checked Open Table again and discovered that they were still taking reservations for the night! That angered me because I can only assume that many families had miserable Christmas Day experiences due to this restaurant."

"Made reservations for Thanksgiving and confirmed days in advance we’d be having their Thanksgiving meal. When we arrived to order were were told they had run out of the Thanksgiving meal and we’d have to order off the regular menu. This was beyond upsetting when our entire family had chosen to come to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. We complained to the manager and they offered us appetizers on the house which was appreciated but could not excuse the failure to deliver the meal we had all come here to have. To top it all off, the food I ordered was delivered to the table cold. Coffee was also cold and needless to say the entire experience was bad. We all left the restaurant displeased and unfortunately will not be returning again."

"Food was really good, drinks even better, coordinating food delivery for a bigger party and instead placing the food by seat number at each table they resorted to auctioning off food and was a little challenging. Not all the food came out together so everyone was not eating at the same time as they called out each dish. There were plenty of waitresses and waiters taking care of the party but communication between them lacked and management failed in giving them the proper direction. The blame is solely on management where each table could had their own server being solely responsible for said table, but like I said, each server was taking orders from from whomever summoned them. Servers were polite, professional just not in sync with each other Still would give them another try and it has a great wine selection to pair with your dish"

"I always enjoy the food at Macaroni Grill. However, I must warn you that if you make a reservation through OpenTable, it may be best not to make any special requests or check any special occasion boxes. It seems that the staff at Macaroni Grill never actually read the notes on the reservation to honor your request. I have made several reservations in the past requesting a particular table, only to arrive and find that table occupied because the hostess didn't read the notes. The restaurant is usually not very crowded when we dine early, so it seems there should be no problem reserving our requested table. Perhaps putting a sign on the table would help the staff know it's reserved. Additionally, during my last visit, I found that the background music was much louder than usual, making it difficult to have a conversation with my dinner companions."

"Called ahead to reserve table whole traveling (7:30 PM on a Sat. night) and told there was a 30 45 min wait. Okaaayyyy. Arrived 15 min later and were greeted by 2 2 hostesses who were completely clueless. We were immediately seated in dining room that had DOZENS of empty tables, at least a dozen of which were empty but had not been bussed. After 15 minutes at table, our server (Bailey) finally came around and apologized for delay, explaining that several people had called in and they were understaffed. We get it, stuff happens. As we waited for drinks to arrive, we watched diners become more and more frustrated, waiting for boxes and checks to arrive. I ordered a dirty martini and bartender served it himself great drink. Food was mediocre at best. Entrees were lukewarm and quality less than average. Server and bartender worked hard under difficult conditions. Our negative experience was entirely due to lax management. Will not return, ever."

"We were sat by the hostess and waited minutes before we let them know we hadn't been greeted yet. She said they were very understaffed. The togo girl who was very sweet came over and offered to wait on us. We ordered drinks from the bar, but didn't receive them for another minutes. We ordered dinner right away, but didnt receive it for another hour. I ordered the create your own pasta, they forgot my addons and brought it all on the side when I said something. My husband got the chicken parmesan, and my daughter just received butter noodles, it was absolutely inedible. We were so disappointed in everything, and I was so sad because I used to love this place. I understand that places are severely understaffed, but maybe you need to pay your people more money, cause now you lose it on the back end. Such a shame."

"Qualified yes. My family picked coming to Romano's as one of two restaurants in Tucson to eat at as part of our vacation. Our last time was years prior, Much has changed. Some worse. Food was delicious except the bread this was dry, brittle, and not the delicious bread we remember. Food otw was very good. Noise level and type of music was too loud despite that we came at the end of lunch time, around Ambiance was otw good. Service was excellent. Would really like a BIG improvement in the bread.
