"Dinner date for burgers. Reservation made; arrived early; great seat in a booth by the windows. We ordered burgers and waited and waited. They tried to deliver a wine we didn’t order and then a set of cheese burgers and fries. We should have taken that cheddar set. My date’s burger arrived as ordered (medium with Swiss) co pink. But my medium well burger was delivered bloody red rare, though marked with a medium well toothpick. I sent it back; waited and waited. I ate his fries. My second burger was delivered bloody and rare. The manager watched me cut into it with the same bloody rare result. I was not charged for my burger, but took it home to cook for lunch tomorrow. Server was apologetic and kind, offered a third attempt. In case anyone there cares: My purse fell onto the floor and I noted the dusty grunge and crumbs. Wheat Chex became my dinner 2 hours after our reservation time. This is the second bad outing at this Leawood location."
