"About a month ago, I had a craving for Chinese food and decided to order from a local restaurant. When I asked for a rectangular container instead of the usual one, the woman on the phone was quite rude, stating that the container provided was the only option and that if I wanted a different one, I would have to purchase it for $1.50. I politely explained that I didn't need more food, just a larger container, and inquired if this was a new policy as I had ordered from them for years without any issue. The woman then proceeded to call me a liar and insisted that I pay for the rectangular container or she would charge my credit card. Shocked by her behavior, I calmly suggested that they check their records to see that I have been making the same request for years. However, she continued to be rude and accusatory, ultimately threatening to charge me for the container. Feeling disgusted by her attitude, I cancelled my order and decided to take my business elsewhere. I believe in supporting local businesses, but if a local establishment is unwilling to treat their customers with respect, then they do not deserve my patronage."
