"We often frequent japanese restaurants primarily for sushi. We ordered several rolls including spicy tuna, tuna with avocado and salmon with avocado. The spicy tuna tasted off (besides it not being spicy) sort of old. Well long story short, family members who ate the sushi from Kirari Sushi got food sickness. Something was wrong as immediately after eating this for dinner, we felt sick. The next day was a bad digestion day. We called the next morning to complain and spoke to the manager (in total denial, This has never happened before. , blah blah blah). The manager said she would notify the owner. Well we never heard back. Kirari just lost a customer. The only explanation we could come up with is simply old fish. Why? No customers there when we picked up the food. No outgoing orders to be picked up. Quiet as a library. We suspect old fish. Beware of any sushi restaurant with no customers as there is a high probability you will get old fish. Lack of turnover. Lesson learned."
