"This family-owned business is run by passionate owners who are often present, interacting with customers and guiding wine tastings. Their dedication to winemaking has been passed down through generations. The winery boasts a diverse selection of wines made from local grapes, each offering its own distinct flavor and aroma. The blackberry cabernet, for instance, truly lives up to its name, bursting with berry goodness! You can sample a variety of wines through flights or select a bottle to enjoy with your meal. Additionally, there is a wide range of beers and cocktails available; the Elderberry-St. Germaine cocktail, for example, was so delicious and memorable that I will definitely order it again on my next visit. The food is equally impressive, featuring meze that pair beautifully with the wines. Whether you're in the mood for a cheese board or something more substantial, Urban Winery has options to please every palate. Although the menu may seem limited at first glance, diners soon discover an abundance of appetizer choices, a cheese plate filled with delectable selections, and creatively themed dishes that surprise and delight. The lamb chops are tender and juicy, and the chicken souvlaki served on Greek night is incredibly soft, succulent, and flavorful. The ambiance is cozy and chic, with exposed brick walls, wooden tables, and soft lighting. The wide range of live music and events adds to the lively atmosphere. Urban Winery also features a beautiful and inviting private patio in the back where you can enjoy live performances when the weather permits. We particularly loved Greek Night, as the enchanting music and beautifully decorated patio made us feel as though we were in a genuine Greek taverna. Urban Winery is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination. Be sure not to overlook this hidden gem in the city!"

"Parking is a trick to figure out but a charming spot with great views! Small so you need reservations and can only call during business hours to make them, no online res option (google is wrong, they open at 5 not 6). And like other reviews state, don’t count on them keeping your reservation correctly. I made reservations for 4 over a week in advance and for some reason they had us for 2. They accommodated us though. In future I may make an excuse to call back a day ahead to make sure they got it right. Was disappointed with the overcast sunset for a bday dinner but obviously not on them and still lovely ambiance. Service was ok, food was very good. The blue cheese salad was perfectly dressed and the mushroom soup special was to die for! Scallop main had craisins in the risotto which I found weird but once I picked them out it was very good. The chicken and mushrooms pasta was also excellent. We shared a Bailey and chocolate bread pudding for dessert that was awesome. The drinks werent great. The dirty martini was straight up awful and my mai tai was soso. The bathrooms are downstairs and the restaurant is not handicapped accessible. Not an issue for our group but may be for some folks. All of that said it was still a wonderful dinner! Lived here all my life and it was my first trip here! Will be back, it was a lovely evening and I imagine probably the best waterfront sunset view on the island on a clear day!"
