"We were looking for a quick, flavorful spot on Broadway and found Roosters. Serving vodka mojitos in a Polynesian glass along with Mexican food and Southwest BBQ: perfect combination, right?! We started with chips/salsa/guacamole (not free but reasonably priced). For entrees, my date had the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs and I had the Angus beef fajitas. My date is verrry picky about things like cornbeard (good texture, a little too sweet for her tastes), cole slaw (really liked it it wasn't drowning in dressing) and charro beans (smoky, bacon y and not sweet). The fajitas sizzled more than I've ever experienced. The accompanying onions and peppers were sliced/sized nicely and the meat was favorful. I was disappointed with the size of the white corn tortillas (a bit too small for the amount of fajitas) but everything was fresh, tasty, and served hot. We'll come back."
