"We eagerly began to order from the menu, taking advantage of the happy hour that runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m., allowing us plenty of time to enjoy about 60 pieces of sushi for just $1 each. The pieces may be modest in size, but they are generously topped with fish. The salmon was perfectly fatty, while the yellowtail was fresh and delicate. I also tried the Anago and marinated mackerel, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Tamago stands out as the best I’ve ever tasted at any sushi restaurant.
The service was prompt and attentive, with different generations of a family working together. By the time we left a little after 7, we were pleasantly full and satisfied, joining the other diners who were out enjoying the summer evening in Woodley Park.
We're fortunate to live so close to such a fantastic sushi place that offers great deals during happy hour. I highly recommend visiting on a weekday or arriving earlier to avoid a wait, as I suspect it becomes quite busy on weekends."
