"The food was very good and the service was also good. You don't have a good design of beer selection, although it's quite disappointed. The menu seems too expensive, but if you go between 3:00 and 6:00, everything is halfway away... everything. Things that I had, which were good, belong to the bacon, which are like 1/2 thick, frits (which come on a massive baking sheet), shells (that is an appetizer, but a Entree size), shrimps Cobb Salat (that was huge and fantastic), the Diner Burger (that is one of the best burgers I ever had) and shrimp tacos (which was sad on a special menu). We had the brussel sprouts appetizer recommended us as the house Favorit and I 't care for them they were unarabley salty and targeted overdone... but too much so."

"I will tell you everything about this restaurant was fabulous EXCEPT For the disorganization with the check. I understand the inconvenience of offering separate checks I have been a server for 30 years. However having one check with not even a seat number listed and things just randomly thrown all over it made it incredibly hard for us to search. I do understand the inconvenience but at the end of the day it is the customer that suffers and because of this I can’t ever say we would ever come back and that’s too bad. I haven’t seen a system that won’t organize things by seat number I highly suggest you figure it out. It would’ve been the perfect spot I would’ve given rave reviews and the server was good but again maybe could’ve helped in the organization process because I have to say I wouldn’t recommend again and that’s too bad really too bad."

"We went on Valentine’s Day and had an 8 PM reservation. Arrived 15 minutes ahead of time and at 8:20 still had not been acknowledged that we were even there. There was a line of annoyed people who also had reservations but instead of letting people check in, it was a very slow moving line, one at a time. There was only one hostess checking everyone in and nothing against her but she seemed sort of unsure and unclear of her direction. Besides being the only hostess, she was the only one busing/cleaning tables in between trying to seat tables. She clearly needed others to help her, and nobody seemed to be available. I cannot really rate the food because we were too annoyed with the experience before we even could get sat, and decided to leave! In addition, while waiting to be acknowledged for our reservation, my boyfriend tried to order a drink and was asked three different times ‘can we help you’ but then nobody ever took his order!"

"The atmosphere is fun, funky and relaxing. Even though it was for Mother 's Day brunch, no one rushed or hurried us along. Our server Lisa was personable and helpful. The music set the tone also. We will definitely go back for a live music night. The food was very good and I look forward to perusing the full menu on a regular dining night. The drinks were great also. The infused **** Mary was excellent! I loved the whole experience."

"Our party of 4 sends you 4 thumbs down! Very disappointed! We drove for an hour and 30 mins to get to your restaurant only to be completely disappointed. Our party of four arrived for our reservation at 7:45pm. We were surprised it wasn’t busy at all. We were told to sit where ever we’d like since there were so many open tables. However we sat there for about 20 mins or longer and no one had even bothered to bring us water, menus or even acknowledged us. I mean the place is small it’s not like no one saw us, we were right there. The place was loud and belligerent and drunk people at the bar. It was a very cold and breezy night and although we all had coats on it was hard to keep warm all doors were open they didn’t have any of the heaters on. Maybe because no one was in the seating area but had someone acknowledged we would of gladly asked but no one came and that was completely unacceptable and disappointing. It would of been different if your restaurant had been busy and at $135 dollars a person it fail to represent with just the service, and atmosphere it was not worth staying and moving forward. We got up and left. We will not be coming and we do not recommend your restaurant."

"This was our second time at brunch and it was vastly different than the first! We waited more than 20 minutes to be greeted by a host to check-in for our reservation. We resorted to call the restaurant to ask for a host to be sent over as a line was forming, and we were afraid we'd be considered a no show. Once sat, we thought it was a bit unfair that we had to purchase bottle service in order to keep our table. We had reserved our tables weeks in advance to dine-in, we were going to be consuming food and mocktails. Most of our party does not drink alcohol. The first time, we did not receive this condition. I'm assuming it was based on demand, as the second time, Gold Coast was packed. Additionally, our entire party was also not able to be seated, which goes again to the frustration that we had made our reservation weeks in advance. The rest of our party had to stand up (and eat while standing up, which was so uncomfortable as people dancing were being squished together while we were all trying to eat). Furthermore, it did become blatantly unfair once the table next to us finished and other people near the bar made their way to that table to claim it. No one was approached by the staff to explain the same condition to keep the table as they did to us. It might have been an out of context observation, but it would be best if these conditions were fair and explicitly stated to everyone. This experience was frustrating overall. I understand the demand, and was disappointed as I know this wasn't intentional, where some things are out of anyone's control. Thank you for your time."

"Revel offers a lively atmosphere and unique setup, but there are several areas for improvement. The food quality is mediocre and overpriced. We sampled a variety of dishes including grilled cheese, hamburger, flatbread, Brussels sprouts, bacon-wrapped dates, and cheesecake. Unfortunately, the hamburger was undercooked, the cheesecake was frozen, and the fries varied between our two visits. Service was slow, with our food taking over 30 minutes to arrive, and our server seemed unable to fulfill all of our requests in a timely manner. The restroom layout is peculiar, with four stalls placed side by side, one of which only containing a urinal. For a unisex restroom feel, each stall should include both a toilet and a urinal to expedite the line. Overall, Revel has the potential to be a fun hangout spot if they enhance their food quality and service."
