"“The kitchen staff didn’t realize that butter was dairy.”*Not recommended, especially if you have food allergies*I live in LA and I’m back home in NY for the first time in 10 years and my family wanted me to have a great dining experience, but unfortunately, it was one of my worst… first of all, we waited 20 min and had to ask twice just for water. Then, we ordered drinks and appetizers and I made it very clear I had a dairy allergy. We ordered a pineapple mojito, which was on the specials board, but they brought a grapefruit Cosmo instead. 20 minutes later our appetizers came out, both covered in cheese, so I could not eat them. We put in our entree orders and, of course, mine came out covered in dairy and not as described on the menu… so I could not eat that either. They said they were “cooking up French fries” for me (which I didn’t want), but when I asked for my asparagus with no butter, they told me the kitchen was closed. We reordered the mojito “special” and it came out without mint. My old fashions had no cherries. The steaks were overcooked.They did end up comping some of our food and drinks (our bill was still $200), but I think the worst part was when the owner came out and asked how everything was, then tried telling us that “the kitchen staff didn’t realize that butter was dairy.”Simply put no one I know will ever be going back there."
