"Unburger Grill is a small location with a big punch. Do not let the petite size of the restaurant full you, this is a legitimately delicious vegan American-style burger shop in Detroit, MI. I have tried the Unoriginal (their signature burger). It was a large sandwich with a soft, spongy bun, double the impossible patties, and vegan cheese. A classic double patty cheeseburger. It was delectably messy. If anything, I might try a smaller sandwich next time as the amount of impossible meat made it difficult to eat. I had a side of mac& cheese that was a little disappointing in its blandness. Next time I will stick to the classic fries. When I visited, I was able to talk to the cashier about other vegan options in the city, as well. They seemed very knowledgeable and kind to direct me to other good eats nearby. Looking at Unburger Grill 's website they are in the process of updating their menu. When I visited they had a plethora of toppings on burger and chicken sandwiches. I am not able to visit that often since I come from the other side of the state, but I hope to pay another sojourn when the new menu comes out. "The Reuben sandwich was overloaded with dressing and had very little sauerkraut. However, the tater tots were well-cooked and delightfully crispy. The bartender was great as always—very friendly and courteous. I will definitely come back for the bar atmosphere, but I'll likely grab a bite to eat beforehand."

"Hours aren’t correct they close at 7:30 pm but they are to lazy to call Google and not email or try chatting with them to change the hours.Also customer service is like a funeral parlor dead and friendly service left with Covid! I Grew up on Pizza Man’s used to brag about the cheese bread, pizza and calzones, but like all things good things that once were aren’t anymore. Service: Take out"

"Have to say the concept was good but poorly executed. The place is super small and there is one person cooking and another that keeps running to the liquor store to get beverages. I have never seen a restaurant that doesn 't at least have water. What drew me there was the idea of fresh local fish. What will keep me from going back was the hygiene of the person cooking. The chef was drinking beer and tasting the food as he was cooking. This is a huge no in the food safety world. He was wiping his sweat with his shirt. No apron. No gloves. He was using his sushi knife to cut other things. Nothing was cleaned or sanitized. He sneezed on the back of his hand and had to be told to wash his hands and then promptly put his hands to his face after washing his hands. Not sure what 8 hour food manager class he took but he sure needs a do-over and his license to operate a restaurant revoked. I only had one dish and left as I didn 't want to risk getting sick and I walked out. Dine at your own risk."

"I once ordered a cake from here that was soooooooo good. I have been back 3 times since and each time I am very disappointed. I have tried their counter baked goods which are not nearly as good as the cake that was ordered. The rasperberry oat bars had absolutely no flavor. None. The sugar cookie was so hard I thought I broke a tooth and the no bake cookie was just okay. I 'm not really sure what you mean by your response. I dont feel it is bias at all. The cake I ordered was delicious and well made and I kept returning hoping for that same experience with your counter baked goods and honestly they werent that great. I dont want a refund from you or your store, I took a chance on your bakery just like I would at any establishment. You spent money to make it, I purchased it. The fact that you sell the products all across the region doesnt mean a whole lot to me because it doesnt change my experience at your bakery. Which I wont bother coming to again because you seem unpleasant at best. I changed my review from 3 to 1 star."
