"I visited the Outer Banks for the first time on Saturday, July 9th, and after seeing the positive reviews for Sal's, I decided to give it a try since it was within walking distance. In my experience, however, the pizza dough was dry and it turned out to be just an average pizza—not quite living up to the hype. I also ordered barbecue wings, which were similarly dry and lacked sufficient sauce; I'm used to enjoying wings that are generously coated. I should mention that I’m from Pittsburgh, PA, where we have our own way of doing things. I don’t want to be too harsh, considering it was only my first visit and they may have had an off day. However, with Jasper also receiving some recent negative feedback, it does make you wonder if there’s a bigger issue at play."
