"I had high hopes heading into this establishment and left very disappointed. Walking in, the place was very chaotic. The ambiance was great, but the temperature was way too warm inside. Despite the chaos, it took less than five minutes for us to be seated. The menu looked amazing. A great selection of Caribbean fusion full of some of my favorite dishes. The Crab Cake appetizer sounded great, unfortunately, they had completely ran out of their appetizer selections and some dinner items. We made our choices based on what was available at the time. Red Snapper with Black Rice , side of plantains and Grilled Salmon. About minutes after placing our order, the server returned to inform us that they were out of the Salmon. Queue the Shrimp in Creole Sauce. It took about minutes for the food to arrive, during which time a busboy who was on his way to clear a table, stopped and asked the table next to us if they were done with some of their plates. The busboy actually put the bus pan on my table to clear the plates off the table next to mines. I felt like walking out at that point, but decided to stick it through after being there for an hour. The food finally arrived. The presentation, the aroma all were very appetizing. The food was seasoned well and taste good. Although I had to ask for my plantains at least twice before receiving them. Our server was very nice and professional. She was not very attentive, like refilling water, etc., but I attribute that to how understaffed they were. It took quite a while after we finished eating before I could flag her down for the check. Please get your act together. Bring someone in or consult with someone who knows how to manage a restaurant. At the very least, please inform your busboy to NEVER EVER put a bus pan on a table occupied by a customer. You're menu is not cheap. Customers expect and deserve more"
