"This is the most difficult review so far. The food was really good. Tasty. Hot. We’ll proportioned. Plentiful. The spring rolls were filled with a fresh mix of goodness, and the accompanying large portion of peanut sauce was alive with flavor. (I enjoy mixing a bunch of Sriracha sauce in the peanut sauce; so I’m not a purist. Perfectly wrapped rolls.I also ordered the fried rice and shrimp. It was served so hot that it maintained its temperature throughout my meandering meal. I get distracted a lot, so that says something. The serving was bigger than I thought it would be, which is always a nice surprise. What was not surprising is that I ate every bit of it. I have very little self control with good food. I’ve had the pho here as well, and it is divine. I just needed something heartier on this visit. So why the lower than 5-star review? The service. More accurately, the lack of service. I walked in a little before 5 PM on a Monday afternoon. There were no other diners. None. But the employee seemed annoyed that I was there. Imagine my nerve trying to offer my money in exchange for food! That annoyance was carried through the exchange. I ordered water. Not because I’m cheap, but because I hadn’t drunk water in about 24 hours and was a desert inside. When I eat I like to drink. A lot. They never refilled my glass. Even though an employee was sitting at the very next table wrapping forks! Yes, a couple of other tables were eventually filled, but it was not busy.Successful places of business won’t just treat you well for coming in, they will treat you well enough to come back. I received neither. Nor will I return."
