"When our food arrived, the portions were generous and looked delicious. My friend requested to have the TV switched to a football game, but it seemed the waitress was preoccupied with watching it herself. This made my friend quite unhappy.

He wanted to remove the BLT he had ordered from the bill because of her rudeness, which he hadn't even touched. The owner said she would discuss the situation with the waitress and ended up taking the BLT off our bill.
After my friend's wife and I finished our meals, we still hadn't received our bill. When I walked to the counter, the manager was pouring a pitcher of beer. As soon as she saw me, she stopped pouring, tossed the pitcher aside, told the other bartender she needed some time, and went into the back. I hadn't said anything to her, and the bartender seemed confused about what was happening. It took a while for him to find our ticket so I could pay.
Earlier, when I visited the bathroom, I was hit by a terrible odor. The floor was littered with toilet paper and paper towels, and the toilet itself was in a disgusting state. The faucet was loose, making it difficult to use. As I returned to our table, I noticed bits of food and paper scattered on the floor around the tables, extending all the way to ours. Although there was a screened window open, a few large flies kept buzzing around our food, and we had to swat them away.
