"The server was good, one man show on a busy weekday. The atmosphere had a Day of the Dead theme in the deco. Not my thing. Maybe it makes sense for a bar, but I don 't think it 's the right atmosphere for a family restaurant.Food, not so good. Salsa was good. That was it. Corn chips tasted chalky, like there was an excess of baking powder or other substance. The food was the same. There wasn 't much seasoning, but something was off in the ingredients. We did not finish our food and were not motivated to get it to go.The prices are fair (I get costs have gone up). If you 're going to charge restaurant prices, I expect a commensurate quality of food. This was below those expectations. We know how to make good Hispanic food at home. We ate here out of convenience (time) and to see if it 's more unique, making it worth eating out. This definitely tasted Americanized in a bad way. We should have cooked at home. ?"
