"The worst spot in existence. Literally they've been mediocre but this experience takes the **** cake. They are now at my bottom tier, trash. Will never come back nor recommend this location.I came in there SOLELY for their promo, which didn't work online so I went in store for help. No body could help me, they even showed me step by step how to and they watched as the promo wasn't applied, even though at the start it indicated it was attached. They are the least knowledgeable about anything subway related. They couldn't even honor the promo. I was standing in there from 6:10pm until 6:40pm cst.With no help, with no way of getting my lunch, a hungry stomach, and all I wanted was a single sandwich. That, I didn't even get because this experience was worse than anything. It ruined my day and I hope anyone reading this BE CAUTIOUS. They won't help you in the least, and seem to favor certain people. Guess I'm not special a customer enough."

"It's a Subway. The actual reason I'm leaving this review is that on the two occasions I've paid with cash here, the employees have not given me all my change. They gave me the bills but kept the coins. It's happened with two different cashiers, which leads me to believe they're being trained to do this or something. I work in the building and have been here a few times, and I usually pay with a card. But twice they've gotten me with the cash thing. I forgot to use a card today and was reminded that they steal money at this location. Lesson learned, fool me once, etc."

"I frequently visit this Subway and use coupons for discounts on 6-inch subs, footlongs, meals, and more. They usually accept them without issue. However, one evening, the manager informed me that they don't accept coupons, which is incorrect because they happily take them during lunchtime when I usually go, and the staff member there knows me. The manager was rude and started speaking in another language when I tried to pay with a $100 bill, and she didn't even have enough cash in the register to give me change. It's frustrating when they lie about not accepting coupons and talk behind my back when I try to show that I'm paying. It's about sticking to principles."

"About four minutes later, I decided to wait inside the restaurant instead. After a few minutes, the employee handed me my order in a bag. I left the store and went to my car. As I was checking my subs to ensure everything was correct, the same employee unexpectedly approached my car window and accused me of taking an extra sub, claiming I had taken the first sandwich he had prepared for my order. I was infuriated because I hadn’t taken anything—he didn’t even give it to me when I first arrived. After stating that he had forgotten to make the second sandwich, I had left to wait for both sandwiches together. Thankfully, my boyfriend was in the car with me, which seemed to catch the employee off guard. He didn't have much to say after that, but it made me wonder, what if I had been alone? What would he have said or done? I wasn’t parked directly in front of Subway; I was on the opposite side of the parking lot. The fact that he recognized the car I was in was shocking to me. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't let someone disrespect me in my personal space while I was in my car, accusing me of taking three subs—it’s ridiculous. He clearly wasn’t paying attention to the order or to what had transpired inside the restaurant. I suggest the Subway manager review the surveillance footage, sit the employee down, and discuss the situation. This behavior is unacceptable; he needs to be more attentive. I bet if I were a man, he wouldn’t have gone out of his way to approach my car over a sandwich. Review the footage—you’ll see that I only left with two footlongs in a single bag that could only fit those two subs, and I paid for them. Location: 631 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos, CA 92078"

"The quality at Subway is outstanding and the convenience is a definite plus. The dining area is always clean, which is impressive for a fast-casual spot. While the service can be a bit slow during peak hours when the line gets longer, the overall experience is very positive. You can always rely on receiving a well-crafted sandwich, never one that looks messy with clumps of lettuce or anything like that, thanks to the varied menu options."

"My experience was bad, The staff had an attitude, Laura and including Mayra the manager did not answer my good morning, they did my sandwich with a long face. I told Laura to give me a minute that I was waiting for response on a 4th sandwich of my friendand the employee Laura rolled her eyes and walked to the backroom with out saying anything until Mayra the manager called herback. My total was $42. I had a one hundred dollar bill and Mayra tell me she has no chance, I ask what do I do if I don 't havechance and her response I don 't know and grabbed the bags like if I was going to still them. I 'm never going back to thelocation."

"Went in this afternoon and was told the toaster oven was down but I still went ahead and got a sub anyways. When I got done ordering I asked for the code to the bathroom and the guy said there was no code then after I walked down the hallway he said I couldn’t use the restroom. Don’t understand why when I’m a paying customer. So we finished up with the rest of our order and paid for it and then I asked for a wet paper towel and he said he gave me napkins and I asked him to wet a few and he got mad and barely even wet them. There was a girl employee that came in while we were ordering our food and started to grab a medium cup, and then told the guy she was going to grab a large cup to get a soda for her grandpa and then she took it out to him and came back in and didn’t wash her hands before handing stuff behind the counter. Then she proceeded to start, touching her hair and her face, and then was touching more stuff behind the counter without washing her hands. That’s very unsanitary and disgusting. Service was unprofessionally food wasn’t good at all. Won’t be back to this location."

"I visited the restaurant yesterday and noticed there was only one gentleman working by himself. Despite having a line of customers, he served the three people ahead of me in no time. I ordered six sandwiches and two salads, much to the chagrin of the other customers waiting. However, he just smiled and assured me he would make them without any problem. Remarkably, he had everything ready in under 10 minutes, and I was out the door in no time. He mentioned his name was Mikel (I hope I spelled it correctly). He definitely deserves a raise! It's great to see this store hiring better employees."

"Location moved to behind Starbucks in the McDonald's shopping lot on Mack Road and Valley high drive. They are open until nine which is very helpful because we get back from swim team in Rancho Cordova at 8:30. That night I had to spend 3 hours preparingfood for the team potluck the next day. We prefer Subway to McDonald's Burger King or Taco Bell. A young black woman took myorder; a salami and bacon 6 inch. All sandwiches on the cheese bread and toasted. I ordered rotisserie chicken provolone cheeseadd mortadello and cappicola. My other son ordered a footlong tuna and pepperjack sandwich. He needed the sandwich packed as 2 6inch sandwiches so he could take one to work for lunch the next day. She made each sandwich correctly. All had mayo and mustardand mine had parmasean vinegrette also. She put the perfect amount of condiments on each sandwich. She took her time and madesure each sandwich was made right. The salami only had an extreme amount of pickles as the desired produce. Then she wrapped andlabeled the sandwich without my having to ask. I had lettuce, picles, onions, banana peppers, extra olives, salt and pepper.Finally the tuna had spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers , pickles, banana peppers, and olives. Every sandwich looked fantastic.The prevention and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. She did not want to serve something she would not want to eatherself. She was very positive and had a stellar personality. The food tasted as wonderful. I really appreciated her superiorcustomer service care. We will definitely return."
