"Tonight was our first and last time visiting Asian Noodle Bar.I ordered a miso soup and the Tom Ka Noodle. The entree was under the specials list instead of the soup section. I’m very familiar with tom ka (sometimes spelled tom kha gai), and it’s a standard at all Thai restaurants and listed under their soup sections on the menu. The description of the dish read “Vermicelli noodle, sliced mushrooms and onions in coconut broth, flavored with chili lemongrass, lime juice and cilantro.” I figured this was an interesting fusion dish using the flavors of tom kha gai (soup) in a noodle dish (like pad Thai). Instead the entree was simply the soup, which I didn’t understand because it wasn’t listed under the soup section and didn’t have soup in the description. The name, in my mind, made me think it was a noodle dish. When I pointed out my confusion, the server was brusque and chastised me for ostensibly not knowing what tom kha is, even though I do. The entree itself was lackluster and unimaginative; it was definitely not “special”. If there was fast food version of tom kha gai, this dish is what I imagine it would taste like.The miso came out at the same time as the entrees; I think the server forgot we had ordered it. It was very watery and had a cilantro taste; it was unlike any miso I’ve had before, and not in a good way. The service overall was very slow, which was odd since there was only one other patron dining there that wasn’t a family member who had camped out. The server clearly didn’t want to be there and never once cracked a smile or tried to be polite.Skip Asian Noodle Bar if you have other options. It’s not worth the time, money, or calories. We won’t go back."

"The highlight of the restaurant seems to be the wings, as noted by the large thermometer graphic that indicates sauce spice levels. I went for the spicy BBQ, which was rated fairly high on the scale, but surprisingly, it wasn’t very spicy at all. Someone else mentioned that the spice levels tend to be milder here, so I wasn’t very shocked. Nevertheless, they were tasty! I’m curious about how the spicier options taste, especially since the spicy BBQ was quite mild. I also ordered Pfred's Preferred Pfries—cheese fries topped with bacon—and they were fantastic! Thick and quite filling, I shared them with my friend, and we had a hard time finishing the dish. She had a pulled meat sandwich, which was a special of the day. She couldn’t remember if it was brisket or pork, but I can say it was quite good with a nice sauce. It also came with fries and a large pickle, although she didn’t have room to eat the fries or finish her sandwich. The waiter didn't check in on us as often as I would have liked, though I didn’t need anything, and he seemed quite serious without a smile—perhaps he had a long day or sore feet. Regardless, I really enjoyed the atmosphere here! There are plenty of TVs, so I can imagine it gets lively during game days. The music was also enjoyable, featuring lots of throwback hits from the '80s."

"This sushi restaurant in Montecito is conveniently located, but I have to be honest—the quality leaves much to be desired. The consistency of the fish and rice makes me question the freshness of the ingredients, and given the premium prices, I expected much higher standards. The nigiri was acceptable, but visually it was underwhelming. While the sushi rolls were visually impressive, I found the quality to be disappointing, and the random sauces used were confusing and didn't enhance the flavor. It felt more like a visual experience than a focus on quality food. Additionally, the service was minimal, the tables were cramped, and we had to wait a long time for our food. Despite these issues, I do appreciate the convenience of the location."

"After a long work day, a friend and I, who are working in the city for a few months, decided to visit a tavern within walking distance of our accommodation. As we were on night shift, we finished work at midnight and thought of grabbing some wings and a beer at the tavern. However, when we entered the tavern, a lady there rudely informed us that the kitchen was closed and directed us to another bar on the other side of the house. We complied and went to the other bar, where the same lady then told us that they couldn't serve us because we appeared intoxicated for our safety. We explained that we were just working and hadn't had anything to drink, but the lady seemed unconvinced. Feeling confused and slighted, we decided to leave and return to our room. I later called the tavern and spoke to the manager to explain the situation, but was told that we appeared "bewildered," which was embarrassing. This experience made us feel unwelcome and caused us to reconsider spending our money at this establishment in the future."

"The highlight of the meal was definitely the crawfish. Cooked to perfection, the juicy and flavorful crustaceans were simply bursting with taste. Every forkful was a heavenly mix of garlic goodness that had my taste buds dancing with joy. The fried rice at The Crab Zone also stood out. Packed with wonderful flavors, fluffy rice, and a delightful mix of vegetables and proteins, it was both satisfying and filling. The rice was perfectly cooked, not overly greasy, and the blend of flavors was simply delightful. Whether enjoyed on its own or as a side dish, the fried rice was a true winner. To accompany my meal, I treated myself to their Signature Soju drink, Han Dragon. This refreshing concoction was a fantastic fusion of flavors that complemented the seafood beautifully. With its unique mix of fruity and tangy notes, it was the perfect pairing for the feast I enjoyed. Sipping on Han Dragon made the dining experience even more memorable. The service at The Crab Zone was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured all my needs were met. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, providing the ideal backdrop for a lovely dining experience. In conclusion, The Crab Zone in Stockton, CA exceeded my expectations in every way. From the exceptional crawfish to the tantalizing garlic noodles and satisfying fried rice, each dish highlighted the restaurant's dedication to quality and flavor. The Signature Soju drink, Han Dragon, added an extra touch of indulgence to the overall experience. "Absolutely! Joseph was incredibly friendly and personable at the front counter, and he was on top of everything! Despite the restaurant being very busy, he managed all the phone and walk-in takeout orders, as well as the online order system, with remarkable efficiency. He consistently checked on our order and kept us updated on its progress. When our food was ready (even before the estimated time), he ensured that everything was complete and correct, and he made sure we had all the sauces we needed. Our dinner was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place!"
