"SAm Gabes is BACK! Friday night the room was full, and very loud. Live music in the bar, but couldn 't hear it the main room was really loud. Asiago crusted halibut was great as of old. Italian nachos have an interesting spice (remember when pizza had sprinkled Italian seasoning on top? . House sausage, white sauce and LOTS of cheese. Filling for two. Everyone seems to be having a good time. They are trying really, really hard to re create the Talarico experience, to the point of getting the old recipes. If you 're looking for intimate, quiet come during the week. There was a UGE single talbe party in the back room. and two large and loud groups in the main dining room. But we are there for the food."
