"I researched a breakfast place that serves real potatoes rather than the frozen bagged potatoes that most places serve in today's world.Based on the high reviews, it convinced me to visit myself).I decided to order a waffle with Turkey Sausage as a $4.50) side. The waffle was by far the worst tasting I can remember ever having in a very long time. Aside from being gummy, it lacked a taste that would encourage a customer to want another bite. The side of sausage was a joke. Two 2) round patties the size of a half dollar, all for $4.50 really?! Cutting the sausage with a metal knife was unbelievably difficult. The taste was horrible. Around the edge of the sausages, it appeared to be freezer burned. The Coffee was O.K. Service was good and when I left my plate to the side with 1/2 the waffle left and the sausages left except one bite, the attentive waitress asked what was wrong.I explained how bad the food was and she was real nice to hear me out. She did explain many people order the waffle and no one has complained. She was very nice about the situtation and asked if there was something else she could get for me.When I declined and asked for the bill, she said she would remove the sale.In the end I was charged $2.00 which was very kind even though I insisted to pay the full price.I find it hard to believe customers enjoy their waffles or sausage. Judging from the customers and interaction with staff most are locals and know what to buy.Learning to make a daily fresh Waffle mix would greatly improve quality rather than a pre mix commercial purchase), while improving greatly the margin of the business. To be fair, I never did get a chance to taste the fresh potatoes or another breakfast item on the menu.Unfortunately for me I won't be returning and grateful in the way they handled my in person complaint. That does say something in how important a customer is to their business."
