"Despite the new industry restrictions, we were able to secure a table for 7.15pm on New Year's Eve. Although the food and service were satisfactory, all six of us found the restaurant to be too cold as only the fireplace was providing warmth. When I requested more wood for the fire, I was informed that they would not add more since the restaurant was closing at 8pm. However, since they were still accepting reservations until that time, I didn't understand why they couldn't add more wood. I ended up having to keep my jacket on while at the table. While I was informed that the building was old and tended to be cold, I was disappointed to be told that nothing could be done to heat up the room. As a group of six individuals in our 30s, we typically wouldn't complain about the temperature. Despite the good food and service, I am not likely to return to this restaurant."
