"However, we did notice that the lighting was quite dim; while the area under the central ceiling fixture was well-lit, the spotlight lighting on both sides of the restaurant was inadequate. As the dining room filled up, we observed many servers, all of whom were friendly and attentive.
The nachos and salsa, standard fare at any Mexican restaurant, were tasty, but we were charged $5 for a second helping since our entrees took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. That said, the food itself was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The “Combinacion un poco de Todos” offered a great sampling of five different items from their menu, while the chicken fajitas were excellent, seasoned with paprika and served sizzling, along with tasty flour tortillas for a customizable experience.
Our main concerns were the slow service for the food and the high prices for cocktails: a rail whiskey and Coke was $7, and a Wisconsin old-fashioned was $8. While we're open to spending on signature cocktails or higher-end drinks, these were rather ordinary and didn't justify their price."
