"We were a party of six so I called for a reservation but because they were a little short staffed they didn’t do reservations but he put me in the book just so staff knew we were coming. He was honest and apologetic which was a refreshing change these days. I don’t know why they were short staffed but I’ll say this, you could not tell they were. We went to a place the night before and waited 2 hours jut to get the food. We had out soups and salad with in 15 minutes of walking in to the place. Our night started with the sweetest waitress named Brittany, She was so nice to us and made sure to pay attention to the kids, she was also an exceptionally good waitress. The Owner/Manager came over and helped serve and to check to see if everything was good with us and he also was extremely nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cute, a below the ship deck look and feel to it which made it very relaxing. Now the food, my hats off to the chef! Everything we ordered was beyond delicious! I ordered the blackened ribeye steak which was the best steak I’ve ever had. All of us in our party order something different and everyone was super happy with the food. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend trying the Sea Merchants Restaurant. Thank you again to Brittany for making our dinner experience memorable."
