"First of all, I was the only one in the restaurant and it was a thirty minute wait. Okay, the salmon have to be cooked fresh, but why was it so dry!!! It was over cooked! I had salmon at the Yard House the two nights ago and it was soooo delicious,moist, and seasoned just right.I was hoping for a similar experience, but no not at all! I love island food, and this restaurantdoes have tasty plantains, Mac n Cheese, and sweet yams. Too sweet for me, but my dad loved them. As for the Jerk Shrimp, toospicy! Everyone doesn?t he food with that much heat. It would have been to have an option for the Jerk Shrimp. When I called tocomplain because our two dinners with tip was over $60!"

"I used to frequent here a lot, but then I stopped when I found hair in my food and couldn't get a replacement. The other day I decided to give it another chance and ordered over the phone. I arrived 30mins after I called, and instantly regretted my decision. I ordered a small meal that wasn't ready. As I was waiting, 4 people walked in, ordered, and were served right away. A few of us that were standing there were shocked. The lighter toned lady at the counter has the worst attitude possible in an establishment. Very rude, as if a paying customer annoys her. She should never be allowed to interact with people, or find another job. Finally get my food, and my order was wrong. I didn't dare to mention it, because it probably would've been another hour, or if she had gotten smart...Well you know how that could end. I'll just spend my money elsewhere, where you're treated with respect."

"There is no walk-in service; you have to call in your order. We drove to the restaurant only to discover this. It took five calls before someone finally answered, and even then, I felt like I was disturbing him. The chicken was disappointing—chopped into very small pieces and lacking any flavor. I won’t be returning as a customer."

"As a forgiving individual, I have gone to Jerk Villa on and off for years despite there rude behavior and potentially spoiled food. Recently (10-18-23), I ordered 2 veggie plates (cabbage, rice and peas) and upon receiving my order, I noticed the food smelled like it might have been spoiled. Silly me, I disregarded it and went on.After, I got home, I ate a small portion and within an hour after consuming the meal my stomach started to hurt so I took Alka Seltzer. The rest of the meal remained in the refrigerator until tha next day. I threw the remaining food away because the spoiled smell had gotten worse.I called Jerk Villa on (10-21-23) and told a staff member about the spoiled food and they denied serving spoiled food and blamed my stomach issues on other foods I may have eaten not theirs. Terrible interaction andI will never eat there again."
