"As a vegan, I feel compelled to mention that this restaurant does serve veal, meat, milk, and other non-vegan items. However, given that I live in a non-vegan city, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming staff who were open to customizing orders. After taking my grandmother's and my orders, the waitress double-checked to ensure we didn't want cheese on our meals, which I really appreciated. The menu does not clearly indicate the vegetarian and vegan options, making them a bit hard to identify. In fact, I only found out about the veggie burger after looking at the take-home menu. Overall, the staff's friendliness and willingness to cater to dietary needs made for a positive experience, despite the restaurant primarily serving non-vegan dishes."
