"The cupcakes were fantastic. Unfortunately, I had to give a rating of 2 because my daughter has a tree nut allergy. The girl who took our order was young, so I carefully explained the allergy and she wrote it down on the order slip. I specifically asked if any of our chosen cupcakes contained tree nuts, and she assured me they did not. However, when we picked up the order, the carrot cake cupcake had walnuts on top. I understand this isn’t entirely the restaurant’s fault, but when I provide clear instructions and ask direct questions, I expect to be informed if something isn’t possible or safe."
