"To the owner’s response: 8/19/2023 Changing my review to 1 star after false accusation from the owner. Question to the owner: What story did I make up? I didn’t even have a story in my original review!! Stop falsely accusing real customers and own up to the truth and Stay humble!! I was reviewing the food based on presentation, taste, portion, price, service, and ambience in an unbiased way. If the owner cannot accept any review below a 4 5 star from a real customer, the restaurant will fail on its own because the owner’s attitude will speak for itself. I have been and will keep reviewing all the business based on my true experience. Original review: 8/18/2023 Good presentation is the most I can say about food at this place. I’m still drinking a lot of water from the extra MSG from the soup. Presentation: first time seeing Vietnamese pho soup served in a hot “Korean” stone bowl. Everything else was nicely laid out on the plate. Taste: I didn’t taste anything special from other regular pho place. The taste of MSG is a bit over powering. Portion: I ate around 6:15pm and I’m still hungry at 8:30pm. I probably will have to eat again. The meat and noodle portion were both on the small side. Price: not cheap for a pho place. $18 tax tip came out to be almost $23 for their pho tick tock (specialty I suppose? Service and ambience: newer restaurant and service is just regular. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Pho Tick Tock House Special"

"I used to be a regular here prior to the pandemic. Very small and low key place, good for a quiet hour or small groups. Parking lot is in the back and all around. A few years ago, I would rate them as excellent with 5-stars because everything was perfect. Very clean and organized tables. Today, we sat and scanned the menu code on the table to access the menu. We told the waitress what we wanted. We got the drinks within 2 minutes and our foods came out within 5-7 minutes. Not bad! Very fast! However, something tasted different and felt a little different. Menu is not the same. Also, it's likely the chef, the ingredients, the type of beef meats used, the way the meats were cut, and the payment policy. Soup bases taste different than previous years too. Each place is unique in quality and flavors. I ordered the first special beef Pho small bowl with a natural coconut drink. The small bowl was plentiful. They do give you lots of vegetables here. Everything is fresh. Shrimp Spring rolls to go. Food always presents itself very well here and it was still very delicious. Not sure if ownership has changed, but it's not the same as it used to be. Decorations and ambience is about the same, but we noticed lesser people dining inside during the evenings now. You also get the outdoor dining option if you want. Overall, customer service is still very good, food tastes great, and portions are generous. Note: The only downside is the payment which will now include a Non-Cash Adjustment Fee (roughly 3% more) if you do decide to pay with a credit card instead of cash. That was very new to us. We used to always pay with our credit cards no fees. It's still a great low key spot if you feel like eating a bowl of Pho or other items. Waitress was very friendly and polite. We still felt great coming here. The other popular Pho place on the corner across the street has shutdown due to the pandemic. Thank goodness this small place survived. Show them your support."
