"We had reservations for Bailey's on Saturday at 7:30. When we arrived there was no one dining there. That should have been our first clue to leave. Very strange as there was a music festival and college homecoming in town. We decided to stay since it was late. They offer free wine corkage and luckily we took note of that and brought our own bottle as the do not serve any liquor, beer, or wine. I ordered the chicken with rosemary potatoes, and artichokes with a side of broccoli. The chicken was so dry and over cooked I could hardly cut through it. almost the texture of it being left over and warmed up in a microwave. There was no rosemary on the potatoes and they were lukewarm. The broccoli was clearly out of date/old and had some brown spotted areas. The other people in our party also had issues with their dishes no taste, mushy crab cake that was not cooked correctly. The salmon was ok, side dishes were lukewarm. We sent nothing back , nor did we tell the waiter, because it was getting late and just wanted to move on with our evening. The ONLY bright spot of the night was our waiter, Alex. He was so nice and very attentive!! We felt bad for him having to work that night with no patrons and hence not tips. Hope he finds another job that will pay him better and let him use his interpersonal skills! Thanks Alex for making a bad dining experience more pleasurable. I would give you 5 stars if I could."
