"Today is Easter and I booked reservations for 3 for brunch over 3 weeks ago; when we arrived they had no record of that, but found us a table so no problem there. Yet, there were myriad problems in every other way. This brunch was managed so inefficiently, with patrons waiting in line over 45 minutes to select menu items or have them prepared to order, as there was a SINGLE line instead of multiple stations where people could quickly receive their meal and be seated. I cannot fathom how this cluster was allowed to continue for a long as it did before a manager appeared and still didn't know what to do. Another patron told me they had multiple stations last year and it ran far smoother. I resent having had to pay $45 per person for what amounted to a very unsatisfying Easter meal, since, while the food was fairly good overall, holiday meals in particular are not merely about food but also the ambiance and comfort. This brunch provided none of that and many patrons were unhappy if not outright irate having had their expectations dashed. Embassy and Diamond Club should be ashamed of their performance and management today. Kudos to the fine crew in the kitchen who worked so hard with smiles on their faces. They are the heroes of the day. The manager should be fired or demoted as she simply has little to offer in the way of leadership."

"I had an incredible experience at BBJ! It was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. The atmosphere was fantastic—the lighting was relaxing, the seating was comfortable, and it really set the mood. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, CoCo, was exceptional. She was warm, accommodating, and had a lovely smile. The prices for food and drinks were reasonable, and the food itself was quite good. I tried the spinach dip and lemon pepper wings, which were a decent size—not too small or oversized—and they were well-seasoned and fried to near perfection. My food and drinks arrived quickly, and the presentation was delightful. I particularly enjoyed the Black Panther cocktail. The music selection was varied and engaging, especially before and after the saxophonist performed. Mr. Steven Galloway, the saxophonist, is an amazing talent. His musicianship and ability to engage and entertain the audience, even those outside, was remarkable. He played smooth soul music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. The performance was seamless from start to finish. At one point, our wonderful server CoCo even joined Mr. Galloway on stage to sing, and later, he invited another talented young musician to play bass. Overall, the entire show was phenomenal, and I enjoyed every moment of the evening. Thank you, BBJ, thank you, CoCo, and a big round of applause for Steven Galloway. I would highly recommend it—9.899/10! The only slight drawback was that my clothes smelled strongly of fried food afterward."
