"I recently visited China Wok in Grovetown, GA, and unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. The quality of the food was far below acceptable standards, and I am truly regretful for spending $28 at this establishment. The dishes we ordered, included orange chicken with vegetable noodles and sesame chicken with noodles for my son and they were simply inedible. The chicken on both plates was excessively tough, making it impossible to chew, while the noodles tasted burnt and the vegetables appeared dried out.Despite the unfavorable main dishes, I must acknowledge that the eggroll and spring roll were satisfactory. However, this alone could not salvage the overall poor dining experience.Furthermore, the service was not up to par. I placed my order over the phone, and despite being told it would be ready in 15 minutes, upon arriving 20 to 30 minutes later, I discovered that my order had not even been started until I arrived. As a first-time patron of China Wok, I am deeply disappointed and have no intention of returning. For those seeking quality Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend China Garden on Wrightsboro Rd. I have frequently eaten at that establishment numerous times and have never been disappointed. In conclusion, I would show pictures but that food immediately went in the trash, a waste of 28 dollar. if I could give negative stars for China Wok, I would. My overall satisfaction with the experience was extremely low."

"I wish I could give zero stars. The owner has a complex about people not liking his food apparently. We ordered four dishes. First, it took fifteen to twenty minutes for ONE dish to come out. It was delicious! We were literally the only customers sitting down eating (only one or two picking up, too), so it was not extra busy. Twenty minutes later, when the second dish came out it looked and tasted horrible. I ordered Thai rice with a runny egg. When it came, the eggs looked horrible! The rice tasted horrible. I sent it back. He was noticeably offended and said, That 's expensive! . I said, I am sorry; that is not what I want! When I asked to send it back...while we were yet waiting for the other two dishes to come, mind you...the owner told me if I sent that one back, he refused to bring the other two. He was obviously offended because I didn 't like the food. Apparently, they had never topped Thai rice with a fried egg and did not know how (or could not communicate with each other as the owner speaks English but the sweet little cook did not and looked bewildered about it all). That would explain the half done (and I am being generous) egg I asked for over medium; it was not even a good sunny side up. It did not, however, account for the horrible taste of the rice. You could hear him in the back/kitchen yelling, That is the last time we ever do that! To which my husband replied to us, And this is the last time we will ever do this (meaning come to this restaurant). We were floored! In hindsight, they probably had not even cooked the other two dishes yet when he told us he would not bring them if I did not accept the Thai rice with raw egg. We still refused to keep nasty food and the second back and did not receive the others. We paid cash. When he brought the change, sheepishly, he said something about Eggs are $50 a carton. We had already spent $20 on the one dish; we were prepared to spend at least $50 on the entire meal. How unfortunate. We paid and left. We will never know if we would have liked the other two dishes because we never got the opportunity to taste them. If you own a restaurant but cannot budget for one dish to be sent back...or for an egg...you do not need to own a restaurant. The funny part is, people who know us know that we are foodies...we would have spent well over that little whatever that dish cost in subsequent visits... 'cause that 's how we roll. Too bad."
