"This place is truly amazing! It's a classic restaurant that serves authentic American Chinese cuisine. With white tablecloths and comfortable booths, it feels just like your childhood Chinese restaurant. Plus, it’s kosher, which is a major bonus. I would still choose to eat here even if I didn't keep kosher. You really can't go wrong!"

"Sorry to go against the masses here but we were disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Went basic with pork fried rice and a pair of egg rolls. The egg rolls tasted as though the oil had been used a bit too long. Although the egg rolls themselves weren't burnt, the flavor tasted burnt or a little bitter. As for the pork fried rice, it was quite greasy and also suffered from the same kind of burnt flavor. I will say they do pack a lot of bbq pork in there which is nice to see. The service was fast and friendly but we will be trying a few other Elgin spots before we return. Just one couple's opinion."
