"This is my go-to Chinese restaurant right across the street. Their food is always reliably good, and they actually use chunks of chicken in their chicken dishes instead of the scraps you find at other places. I typically order the shrimp in lobster sauce and General Tso's chicken—I could easily enjoy the shrimp dish every day. Their wonton soup can be slightly bland, but I usually ask for low-sodium lo mein, and they are always happy to accommodate my request. The staff is friendly, especially the guy who works the counter at night. Their delivery is pretty fast too. Overall, it’s a great place, and I’m never disappointed."

"Well, I tried this place and it was delicious. We got sweet and acidic chicken a side of fried rice and low my with vegetables and kung pao chicken and two egg rolls. We have tried several Chinese restaurants and honestly for me this is by far the best. The fried rice had a lot of taste the eggs were beautiful and crispy. The sweet and acidic chicken was made perfect and the Kung pao chicken was on point. Going the food was still quite hot. Look at her."

"I had the pleasure of dining here for lunch, and overall, it was a great experience. The food deserves a solid 4 out of 5; it was delicious and satisfying. The service was also commendable, rated at 4, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. As for the atmosphere, it was pleasant and inviting, earning another 4 rating. "I visited a nice small restaurant in Spencer, Iowa where I enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal. I was able to customize my plate with my favorite dishes. The only downside was that my soda had too much ice and was watered down. Overall, I left feeling full and satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend trying their Appetizer Platter, as the food, service, and atmosphere all received a 5-star rating. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10 for lunch."

"Ordered Crab Rangoons, two egg rolls and cashew chicken. Crab Rangoons had some type of white substance inside but unlike anything I have ever tasted and not a pleasant taste. The egg rolls had more grease than i ever thought was possible. I have to assume they are being injected with grease? Cashew chicken tasted fine but almost half the chicken was not chicken meat, but chicken parts and pieces. I gave up, paid the check, left a nice tip because the waitress didn't cook the stuff. I then went to Subway and got a nice sandwich. I don't enjoy being critical of someone's business but, yikes. If you have ever eaten at a good Chinese restaurant, dont come here. If this is all you know, keep eating!"

"May is absolutely fantastic! She constantly checks in on the customers and works very hard, always greeting everyone at New China with a smile and kind words. Her pleasant attitude and great memory for returning guests make you feel welcome and like part of the family. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. The quality of the food is excellent. While the prices may seem a bit high at first, they are actually very reasonable! The portions are generous, unlike other places where you can finish everything in one sitting. At New China, you can expect to take home leftovers or have enough for three meals in total. Plus, May is attentive to kids and makes sure they feel special too!"
