"Food was cold. Very cold when it came to our booth of three. I do not like the chips, orceven the salsa. I ordered flour fried tacos. What I got was grilled, not fried tortilla shells. TASTELESS beef, cold, to go along with the COLD RICE! If I wanted cold food, i would not have come inside to the restaurant to dine-in. I was treating my two adult friends, my girlfriend age 40+ her aduktcson, the driver, age 40. They chose the restaurant. I probably would not have chose it, I have eaten there several times. I 've never really been happy with their food. Absolutely NO COMPARISON, TO THE 'GREEN DOOR ' OR 'LA FIESTA '! OVERLY PRICED FOR THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD! I think 'Taco Tico ' or 'Taco Bell ' would have been better food! The sound system was so LOUD, we could not even have a good conversation! The waiter was attentive, though very hard to understand! I am bilingual, but with the background noise, I was even having a hard time understanding him! Overall, because I did not like ANY of my dinner or even those horrible cold stale corn chips, with the not very tasty salsa, I came away from there, wishing We, or at least I Hadn 't eaten there! I consider my $40.00 ILL SPENT! Service: Dine in Food: 1"

"Despite its simple decor, this restaurant serves some of the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I have dined at many renowned establishments in Texas and Mexico, and this place certainly raises the bar. The quality of the ingredients, the preparation, and the authenticity of the dishes surpasses that of your typical Midwest Mexican restaurant. During my most recent visit, my dining companion had several special requests which were met with excellent service. "Traditional Mexican restaurant in downtown Roseville with very good food and pretty much everything you'd expect from the ambiance to the decor to the service. As you enter this looks like any other rice and smashed beans place and when reading the menu it looks pretty much the same, too. Then the chips and salsa come and you know that this is going to better than average because the salsa, in particular, is so good. I had a simple meal, a house margarita and a enchilada/taco combination place. For me, the margarita was disappointing because it game in a goblet and I could only drink half of it; I'd have greatly prefer a normal on-the-rock margarita in a cocktail class and the menu provided no warning for what I suspect most people would view as a pleasant suprise. Think: wow, the margartias are huge! The food was very good, both the enchilada and the taco. The service was good but not great."

"I have tried the place 3x. The food is fine but the service is horrible!!. The staff doesnt know the menu, doesnt know what they offer, what they do have and do not have in the kitchen, how to use the cash register, honestly they probably cant point you to where the restroom is.Eating in and ordering over the phone is just as difficult. I've tried both, English and Spanish. It is NOT a language barrier. They've put down the incorrect order each time (yes, 3 different occasions) and never even acknowledge there was a mistake and cause me to wait an additional 30 minutes. I can go on and on but I'm getting annoyed as I write this. Just horrible, incompetent, untrained staff."

"We had heard about Moreno 's Catering from a few friends and had eaten at Moreno 's casual dining with my family a few times.We drove over to Carey multiple times and met with the owner, Angel Moreno, to talk about our options of Moreno 's catering our event.Every time we had an appointment to discuss catering our gala, he was there as scheduled. If he had a meeting that was running into our allotted time, we always got a call to warn us of the time overlap with an apology and options if we could not make the later time work. He was prepared and ON TIME for our event.His pricing was fair and straight forward. When he saw that we were not going to be a pain in his.....back, he even offered a few friendly help items Free to us . These items were greatly appreciated.Before our home wedding reception, he asked if he could come out and survey the venue for food preparation spaces, bar location, hors d 'oeuvres, dessert and late night snack set-up and serving areas. He did come out and offered a few nice logistical ideas to improve the flow of the meal and ways to expedite the feeding of our guests without sacrificing food quality or its appearance.His co-workers/crew were ample in numbers, friendly, came well dresses and were not intrusive to our event.Most of all, we were pleased that Angel was physically (In person) at our event. He made sure that everything ran smoothly and his coworkers were performing their duties and tasks as professionally as possible.When it 's all said and done. We would include Moreno 's Catering again."

"The food is cheap , and the salsa is really good. My only downfall is that the food was a little on the bland side and the servers don’t really know what they are doing. I had 3 girls come up giggling about getting my order wrong and I asked about my order because it was supposed to be smothered and she said she didn’t know. They couldn’t have been older than 15. I think some improvements with the serving staff is much needed. I love supporting local businesses but I’ll most likely order to go if I go again. But take this with a grain of salt ! Who knows maybe I just went on an off day. I really do recommend going for the chips and salsa."

"The food was not good and way to expensive for what it was. Got the check before we even got the drinks or food. Was sighed at when requested an appetizer after ordering our food because it was on a separate menu we weren’t told about. The appetizer was only 8 pieces of cauliflower for $6.00. They were mad because they had to add it to the check after they had already wrote it. Was not offered another drink until they overhead it being complained about. The best part of the food was the “Texas toast” which was just buttered toast. Our server seemed like we were an inconvenience but the other 2 were really nice."
