"We enjoyed seeing the renovation of Pepitos for the first time and loved the food. We had a shrimp dish that was delicious and all the traditional Mexican fare we ordered chicken enchiladas and tacos were also very good. The decor is serviceable but I felt that it could be more inviting with a few minor changes. Even adding white paper tablecloths with red votive candles on the tables, and maybe colorful cushions on the chairs, would improve the feel and would better match the elevated menu of the restaurant. Also, adding color on the walls maybe a warm gold would warm up the atmosphere. The music was fun and added some liveliness to the setting although it was a touch loud and made it difficult for the servers to hear their customers. That said, we would definitely come back."
