"Boiling Avenue is an outstanding casual restaurant with great prices. Primarily a Japanese establishment, they specialize in hot pots and a variety of small dishes that feature Japanese flavors while also incorporating elements from different culinary traditions. We found their Tonkotsu hot pot to be incredibly flavorful and a fantastic value. The eggplant with meat sauce is superb, as is the spicy cumin beef. The cucumber salad is delicious, but be cautious if you're sensitive to raw garlic, as it contains an abundance of it. Their boba and Asian-style tea drinks are also excellent—not overly sweet, but packed with flavor. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining spot and my favorite restaurant I’ve visited in Sacramento."
