"I recently visited the Beyond King Tut Experience in Boston's South End, and after finishing, it was lunchtime. We had planned to walk two miles to Faneuil Hall Marketplace for a meal, but with temperatures soaring over 90 degrees and my husband feeling quite hungry, we decided to look for a nearby option instead. I found The Bostonian Market and Cafe, just a 3-minute walk from our location. You could easily overlook this spot as it looks like a small convenience store situated on the corner of Harrison and Fay streets. Once inside, it's compact and unpretentious, with a few tables available for dining. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an impressive selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and daily specials. The prices are remarkably reasonable for Boston. We ordered a fresh Greek salad with chicken, the French Quarter sandwich, fries, and two drinks. Everything was delicious and generously portioned, with our total bill coming to just $25.50—I honestly thought there had been a mistake and that was only for one meal, but no, that was the total! The two gentlemen running the place were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speedy with service, and it was clear this eatery is a local favorite. Next time we're in Boston, we’ll definitely plan to eat here again! We also managed to do a 5-mile round trip to Faneuil Hall Marketplace for ice cream, passing through the Boston Public Gardens along the way, so I recommend not missing those sights. However, if you find yourself in South Boston or the South End, The Bostonian Market and Cafe is the perfect spot for a fantastic meal without breaking the bank."

"I was recently vacationing on Lake Huron and a local asked me if I’d been to Amar Pizza and suggested we stop there on our way home. I was quite intrigued that I was being recommended a place to try that was over 2 hours away from where we were, but stopped we did, and damn I’m so glad we did! First, how on Earth does this place have an average rating of a 4? The low ratings must be from a long time ago because this place runs extremely well and they have mastered their unique pizza. This place is one to go to and one to tell all your friends about. We were planning on ordering 2 small deep dish pizzas- a Naga and a Tandoori, but we ended up ordering a large and they were willing to split the pizza in half- which was a cost savings and super nice of them, for the same amount of pizza. The cashier was super welcoming and friendly and walked us through the menu and I thought her customer service was top notch. We ordered our pizza and were quoted 20 minutes, and it was ready in a little less time than that. The pizza was made fresh and boiling hot from the oven. Both pizzas belong in their own category of food. They are pizza but they also taste like something else. The components were well mastered- the crust was crispy and fluffy, and tasted a bit like a light focaccia. The flavors were well balanced- not too greasy or spicy or hot- really just perfect. I love the way they chop red onions, it really allows you to get the full onion flavor which I love. The interior was modest but clean. There was bulletproof glass like other reviewers mentioned. I’m not from the area but the neighborhood seemed safe, just not a white area, and I would have eaten inside if I didn’t have dogs waiting in the car. They have an extensive of typical and more unique beverages. I couldn’t resist trying the Mango Pepsi, which was delicious. The prices were incredibly reasonable- I spent $40 that covered four meals. And the pizza was really good reheated too. They charge a 4% fee to pay with a credit card. I marked this as a place to definitely return next time Im in the area. Thanks Amar Pizza for a great experience! Parking: There was plenty of paid street parking when we visited around noon on a Thursday. The fee was 25 cents for 15 minutes. We waited about 20 minutes for our pizza after ordering so 30 minutes should cover you if you are taking it to go!"

"**Pros:** The standout dish for me was the Shahi Sauce Veggie Pizza—it's hands down the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. The dough has a low salt flavor, perfectly complemented by just the right amount of cheese and sauce. While I enjoyed the veggies it came with, I would have preferred a few more, like bell peppers, olives, and mushrooms; it only had onions, spring onions, tomatoes, paneer, and cheese. The crust was particularly impressive—probably my favorite part of the pizza. Our total bill was just over $50, which wasn’t too bad. **Cons:** Although the staff was friendly, no one greeted us when we arrived, despite being the only customers dining in. A warm and welcoming atmosphere is something I look for and find is often lacking in Indian-owned establishments. This was our second visit, and we were eager to try their garlic sticks. However, I was shocked to find that they were just generic garlic bread from a grocery store topped with melted cheese—definitely not worth it. I could easily have bought a loaf and made it myself at home. I also noticed that the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. There was dust everywhere! The windows needed a good cleaning, and the napkin holders were so dusty that I felt the need to wipe them down with sanitizer. The high chair we used was practically black when we cleaned it. For cleanliness, I would give a zero star rating. It's disappointing to dine in a place that feels unkempt, especially when you’re paying $50 for pizza. I would prefer a clean environment with some background music to mask the loud conversations coming from the kitchen, which felt awkward—like hearing a family argument from behind the scenes. While I could overlook some of these issues, the dust was unacceptable. The pizza was fantastic, just as I remembered, but the garlic bread was a huge letdown. It's odd that both times I visited, there was no one else dining inside—perhaps due to the dust and noise. Overall, the pizza was amazing, but the restaurant could improve with better toppings, enhanced service, and a focus on cleanliness. Some background music would also elevate the dining experience. Lastly, I hope they upgrade their garlic bread to something more authentic instead of using low-quality loaves. Welcoming staff would definitely enhance the experience as well. **Vegetarian Options:** They offer a solid selection of vegetarian dishes. **Dietary Restrictions:** I appreciate the vegetarian options that include paneer, and their sauces, especially the Shahi sauce, are excellent. Their vegan ranch is also impressive. **Parking:** The parking situation is quite good. **Kid-Friendliness:** They provide high chairs, but they definitely need to be cleaned after each use. Ours was dirty and needed a good wipe down with sanitizer."
