"Everything was great! Nirvana is the PERFECT name for this place. Happy, our server, was friendly and attentive. My friend had never had Indian food, and I think he experienced a little actual Nirvana when he did. Our herbal Samosa star was so delicious and for our main course we shared the Chana masala and Tandoori Lachs. we were so full, but still HAD to get some orange slices filled with sorbet before we left and of course they were worth the bloating. We will soon try many more menu items again!"

"We visited Spicy Kitchen shortly after it opened and could see that they were still getting organized. Time has passed, so we decided to give them another chance. This visit had better service, but the food still did not meet expectations. The tandoori chicken wings were excellent, and the garlic naan was very good as well. However, the main courses were just mediocre. I was especially disappointed with the tandoori shrimp. There are many Indian restaurants in the Westchester area, and several are far better than Spicy Kitchen. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it."

"I am giving an overall rating of 3 for this restaurant because of the weird experience we had with our waitress. The food was very good. Not the very best Indian I 've ever had, but overall very good. The food came out promptly and as expected. The manager or Maitre 'd was very friendly and accomodating, offered us a complimentary Lassi and had a nice conversation with my husband at one point. What was so unfortunate about the experience was the odd way our waitress hovered around our table. It really put a damper on the evening for me. Apparently they use an app on their cell phones to put in the food and drink orders. So after taking our orders she just stood at our table and punched everything in. It was disconcerting for us to have all given our orders and then have her remain silent at our table fiddling with her phone. She should have walked away. My husband even commented to her that that was all we needed and she just said, I know, I 'm just putting this in. It was very weird and made us very uncomfortable. Even worse, at one point she overheard our conversation and inserted herself into it!! I 've never had such a strange experience with a waitress. The other workers seemed very normal and everyone was very nice. But still, not sure we 'll be back. Nice place for take out."

"2024:Nirvana Indian Bistro! I remember when Nirvana was one of the best when it was an AYCE lunch buffet in the Reading area, but since it changed to a non buffet, I am quite disappointed, and will never go back again. Paying approximately $50 including a tip was absolutely ridiculous for lunch with my daughter Kaitlyn and I, when the portions were average, when I used to pay approximately $40 including tip for an AYCE, that allowed you to taste a varied amount of delicious food. Please go to Lancaster, because they have several AYCE Indian restaurants, and you will get your money's worth! Thank You. Eddie"

"I usually go to a different restaurant, but since it was closed today, I decided to order from here. Unfortunately, the Paneer Tikka Masala I received didn’t come with the vegetables I requested and tasted more like tomato soup with chunks of chicken. It was nothing like the tikka masala I’ve had elsewhere. The Chicken Chettinad was bland and the chicken was dry. I ordered both mild and mild plus for my meal, but I don't think that was the issue. On a positive note, the Peshwari Naan and Masala Chai were delicious. I might give this place another chance and try something completely different next time."
