"Tonight, I placed a DoorDash order, and my delivery driver arrived just six minutes later only to inform me that another "black male" had picked up my order. This raises serious questions—either they are lying because my assigned DoorDash driver was there so quickly after I placed the order, or someone came in and took my food while pretending to be a delivery driver.
According to DoorDash policy, restaurants are supposed to verify the driver's phone before handing over the food, which they admitted they did not do. When I asked them to remake my order or issue a refund, they refused and told me to contact DoorDash for a refund. Unfortunately, since it was after hours, I couldn't place a new order, and they hung up on me, ignoring my subsequent calls.
Previously, they have messed up my order by giving me the entirely wrong meal, and when I reached out to inform them, they treated me as if I was just trying to get free food. They have also forgotten items from my orders and refused to replace them, telling me DoorDash would handle the refund (which they always do, but it's unacceptable for DoorDash to keep covering their mistakes).
It's shocking to me that any restaurant would treat their customers in this way."
