"I took our food back to the table. The food was very hot, so we waited for it to cool down. Meanwhile, at 8:05 PM, they started cleaning the entire restaurant, moving chairs around and making the few customers left feel uncomfortable, which made them leave.
I asked the waitress if we could get to-go boxes so we could take our food with us and allow them to clean. She flatly refused, saying, “No to-go boxes with all-you-can-eat!” I understood her point, but it was frustrating since they didn’t inform us that the grill would be shutting off at 8 PM. She finally agreed to let us have boxes just this once. As we were walking towards the door, the cook yelled at us, saying there were no to-go boxes. A staff member tried to calm him down, but he started swearing, and I told him I was just trying to make things easier for them so they could go home.
As we were leaving, my wife noticed he was coming after us, running toward the door. I turned to see him in my face; he grabbed my to-go box and ran back into the restaurant. I went back inside, and he was yelling and screaming while the hostess argued with him too. He told me I was lucky they even gave me a to-go box, as they typically charge by the pound. I told him to keep the food; I didn’t need it, although my wife managed to keep her to-go box.
In the end, we paid $55 for one bowl of noodles. This is not how you treat customers, making us feel like the villains when we were simply trying to work with them. I strongly recommend avoiding this place, even on principle. And by the way, the food was terrible, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise."
