"I ordered my meal through Uber Eats, so I can't speak to the service or ambiance of the restaurant. However, I had the hibachi steak yakisoba, which was expertly made. The steak was cooked perfectly, and there was a great balance of noodles and vegetables. For dessert, I tried the sesame balls, and they were amazing—warm, sweet, and wonderfully gooey. We ordered chicken fingers and fries for the kids, but the chicken was overcooked and tough—my children had a hard time even biting into it. To add to our dissatisfaction, one of our entrees arrived without the accompanying soup or salad that was promised. The service did not help matters; it felt uninviting, and the staff seemed curt and unhelpful, especially since nearly every meal had an issue. Although we were offered a 50% discount for this unfortunate experience, there were no apologies—just excuses. I really wish I could give this place a lower rating than one star; if possible, I would rate it at -5 stars."

"Went traditional, and we got a wide variety of rolls and some sushi. Didn't go for any hibachi or sides.Raw sushi tasted fresh and delicious, and the variety of rolls were off the chain. "I am in Covington for roughly three weeks for work, and the place I keep wanting to return to is this one. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food. Whew, the food knocks my socks off every time. The sushi rolls are fantastic especially the godzilla roll, the hibachi is amazing, and their express rice bowls are one helluva bargain. Would recommend, and I will be sorry that I have to wait until October to be back in the area once this trip is over."

"Small quaint place and food is good for a small town Asian. I am from Atlanta and I am spoiled when it comes to Asian food choices and selections but when the craving hits this is next best since not many other options available. I am not trying to make them Sakin's mediocre but I am writing my experience and what I think. So do to my exposure to true and most authentic versions of said food I find them ok. One thing I know that ALL Asians are know to do is price gouging. They charge up like crazy for things that originally comes standard or free as an accompaniment in said culture and it's customary to serve it with said food. Here however they charge for everything they serve extra. That to me was strange. As an example. You buy an Hibachi combo meal then that comes with a small salad and or soup. Here nope you pay extra. And allot too."

"what happened to this place is really sad and disappointing. eating is in order, but their customer service standards have absolutely pumped. at any time, the personal will pass a large filling container at the beginning of the drive to force orders within. I don't understand what the use of it while covid is, as I would imagine, most would prefer the less contact option. To be honest, it would be better if the dirty dining room was closed and they were just going through. Secondly, they suddenly started and stopped sushi, ramen and other different things they usually don't find out about until they have already gone into the inner. not online, no trip through. it feels like a desrapping experience, and there were a few times where I had just gone to sakura 17 or green tea if I knew that certain things were missing. I think that's the worst scooping in savannah."
