"To say that the service was terrible is an understatement. Went there around 1 hour before their closing time, wanting to dine in. Nobody met me at the door and I was looking for anyone to talk to. After I was finally approached by one of the staff while standing by the front desk I immediately made it known that was my first time at their place and asked for any recommendations. After picking a dish I liked while still standing by the front desk and not even being offered to sit I payed around 34 which I found too much but still added a tip. I was told to wait for 15 minutes which I did. At the end they brought my food packed in a bag to take out. I was confused and told them that I didn’t ask for a take out and wanted to dine in, to what they got aggressively disrespectful telling me that their dining in is closed. I was trying to explain that I mentioned the fact that I am a first timer and didn’t know anything about their work regulations to what I was told in an extremely disrespectful manner that I should have known that “anywhere in America” when you order food by the counter that means you take it out. I didn’t have anything else to say but that they are extremely rude and this is not the way they should treat their customers. They gave me the worst experience. Definitely not going there again and warning anyone I know against it. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"When the manager came over to ask about our experience—surprisingly, as our waiter clearly hadn't briefed him—we shared our concerns. He collected our drinks and, while doing so, rudely questioned us about what we wanted instead, claiming that even the new offerings would taste bad since they "come from the same place." The issue wasn’t just the taste of the drinks but that the cups tasted like dirty dish soap. Even after we suggested using paper cups, they continued to serve us in the same dirty glasses. Next came the food order, and again we were rushed. The waiter asked if anyone wanted appetizers; only my friend and I were interested. I hesitated because I was still deciding, but he impatiently said he’d give us more time since nobody seemed ready. I wanted fried sushi, but there were only three options on the menu, and I couldn’t remember the exact name of the one I had liked before. When I finally made a choice that sounded similar, he interrupted me, saying, “That’s raw, just get this one!” and picked a dish for me, which felt incredibly rude. When my cousin discovered a kid's meal option for children under 12, the waiter informed us that it wasn't accepted, prompting my cousin to question why it was on the menu. Eventually, the manager came over again and agreed to honor it this time. They really need to update their menu to prevent misunderstandings like this. Then the chef arrived, and normally, these chefs try to be funny and engaging. However, after witnessing the treatment we received, it was clear our waiter had shared unflattering remarks about us. While the chef attempted to entertain us, my mom noticed a burning smell, which I pointed out was coming from a burnt spot on the grill. The chef dismissed my explanation, insisting the smell was just from the fire. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with the entire experience and have no desire to return. I think the waiter's name was Blake. It’s concerning that it felt like we were treated poorly because of our race; we observed a distinct difference in the waiter's tone with a Caucasian family that arrived after us. My mom enjoys the food enough to order takeout from here regularly, but after this incident, I won't be spending my money there again. Spending $94 for such a disappointing experience is outrageous! I even brought most of my meal home because I didn't enjoy it. It’s sad how people can treat others based on their race, and I hope this message reaches the right people. Goodbye!"
