"I have been a regular customer here for a couple of years, but they dropped the ball today. I ordered a Pad Thai for me and the same for my friend. The portions were literally half size, again I order here all the time. Maybe they were small because itwas lunch time, but I still paid for dinner size portions. On top of that our noodles were leaning towards being soup their wasso much watery sauce. So considering the portion size, we basically got charged double for wet dripping unappetizing noodles. Iam guessing my friend will not decide to return here. This has been my family's favorite place so we will give them anotherchance, but we will also start looking for a new place in case we want it. 5 minutes later, we ended up having to eat ournoodles with a spoon because they were a chopped up wet mess. With all the sauce resulting from the spoons this was no betterthan a microwave pad thai which is to say disgusting."

"I rarely write bad reviews and I always feel bad but this was really not a good experience. This was my last dinner of a 3 week trip home to NY. I got my menu and it had a piece of gum folded into it. We didn’t have forks, it took a long time for me to be able to get forks so we could eat our appetizers. We finished one appetizer before getting forks to eat the other. I ordered a mocktail off the mocktails list, and I just hit 5 years alcohol-free in August, and for some bizarre reason the bartender put rum in the mocktail. Supposedly she misheard. I’m really nice so I didn’t freak out, but it’s a big big mistake and can negatively impact someone seriously. The food was not very healthy and we both felt not so great after dinner. "They have some delicious dishes such as their burgers and their black and Bleu. We ordered their $16 crab dip. We were extremely disappointed to say the least. Plenty of bread, but the crab dip didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl. Had this not been a take-out order, it would have been returned. I appreciated the owner's response. I'm not asking for a credit or anything free. My review was based on my order. Based on the owner's response, that is the measured amount of crab dip used in their $16 appetizer. Other customers may feel that is a generous portion. I personally feel that it should at the very least, cover the bottom of container. We love many of the other selections here. We will continue to patronize The Brickhouse."

"This weekend, I had the pleasure of tasting the best empanada I've ever experienced—the chef's special Buffalo chicken. It was fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor! We also ordered the short rib with sweet potato hash, mushroom risotto, and lobster ravioli, and everything was outstanding. Our drinks were expertly crafted, and we were fortunate to have the most wonderful server—she was sweet, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. I just wish I had caught her name! I can't wait to go back and sample more of their dishes. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, which enhanced the overall experience!"

"I just picked up my first order of meals, and wow, they're amazing! I was really surprised because healthy food usually doesn’t taste this good. I absolutely love this place! The flavors are distinctive, and the food tastes incredibly fresh. I felt like I made a much better choice compared to grabbing fast food or takeout from a restaurant. "Being our first time in Charleston, WV, my wife and I wanted to try and eat at local establishments. We found Coco's right in the heart of downtown and decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how dead they were as no other customer wasin the place. The second thing I noticed was how beautiful and clean the dining area was. The atmosphere is very laid back andinviting. The two employees we had the pleasure of interacting with were very polite. I ordered the Short Rib Grits and mywife ordered the Big Garden Salad. I can honestly say that this was one of the best meal I have ever had in my entire life! The quality and flavor were top notch! My wife's salad was vibrant and bursting with color from all the fresh ingredients! Shewas also enamored by her food! I can not understate this: EAT HERE! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!"

"This “bistro” is pretty much a local pub dressed up in fake plastic roses to make it seem like something it's not. There were layers of dust on the fake flowers and vents.
