"This establishment should be avoided at all costs. I visited this resteraunt last night for a date night with my boyfriend and was really excited to support a family owned business and the food looked incredible online. However after ordering our food and being brought our salads, half way through eating my salad I found a German roach inside my salad! Now I understand that being sat outside there is an extremely slight possibility that the roach was from the awning above (which is what the owner suggested), however most would notice if a bug fell from the sky onto their food and this roach was not on top of my food. After notifying the waitress, she returned to reluctantly inform us that the owner is certain that the roach did not come from her kitchen as their food is prepared with care and cleanliness . As a fellow business owner this response was appalling. Not once did the owner come and speak with us, nor a manager. However, the owner did relay the message that we could come and visit his kitchen . This was such a display of alarming and disheartening customer service and not a way to treat any customer. As for the manager responding to my boyfriends review and asking what could have been done, here are a couple options that exemplify exceptional customer service: Come out and personally APOLOGIZE at any point and not send messages through your young waitress staff. Show that you care about your customers experience and are eager to make it right instead of denying responsibility and simply offering another salad. Take accountability for your restaurant. Even if the roach by some wild unlikely chance came from outside, it is still your establishment and you created an unpleasant experience so at least offer to credit or discount the meal or offer something on the house .Take your dollars elsewhere folks. You are not a valued customer here."

"This was, without a doubt, the worst Bar Louie I've ever been to! I was incredibly surprised and disappointed, especially given its busy and popular location. The floors were extremely sticky, which immediately put me off. The person who seated us seemed disinterested and unfriendly. He was wearing a sort of bonnet for long hair, and his black Crocs were dirty. The bathroom stalls were in need of cleaning, and there was absolutely no soap available. The antibacterial station was empty. To top it off, some of the food was simply not good, and the silverware was dirty. Overall, it was just a nasty experience! I definitely won’t be recommending this place or returning myself."

"I came here to participate in the Elite event that occurred here, but loved it so much we got some more food. I had to share what I saw that day on their regular reviews because it warmed my heart so much.This was quite an experience. The options that this burger joint has are impressive. I opted for the Complimentary Food for the Event and my wife opted for the French Onion Burger, Onion Rings, and a Black Raspberry Shake. The patty and the bun were amazing, the savory flavor was perfect. This thing was so large that she could barely finish half the Burger. The Onion Rings were perfect, the only thing that made me sad is there weren't more. The Shake was amazing and there was enough to give both of us a full glass worth. The food is stupendous, they have one of the best Burgers I've ever had. The one I had was amazing, but exceptionally hot. The one my wife got was so delicious, that I know it is the one I get next time.The thing that struck me the most though were the employees. They were so kind. I saw the employees being wonderful to 3 young kids that came on their scooters to eat here. I guess the week before they came and circled a few of the menu items that they wanted and said they'd be back when they saved up enough. The employees were attentive to us all but kept going over to make sure that the kiddos had everything they needed. When the kids paid and left we saw the employees talking about taking money out of their tips to pay for the rest of the cost of the kids food. They even held the door for the kids when they left. This was precious and brought a tear to my wife and my eyes. We will be back!The French onion burger on a perfect bun with onion rings and sauce. So delicious!"

"One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I didn’t even plan to dine there. I came in on a Sunday around 2pm after studying next door at Kaldi’s. The place was not busy at all but I somehow waited an hour and 15 minutes for a to-go chicken club and fries. I overheard the waitstaff apologizing to other guests in the restaurant the entire time, responding to complaints about food time, waiting at tables without anyone ever coming to bring menus or drinks, forgetting about guests they had at tables outside, ordered drinks never arriving to the table, and food not tasting as great as it “usually is.” Good on the staff for apologizing in general, but I’ve worked in restaurants for years and these issues were all avoidable. Several other tables and guests walked out after receiving no/slow service, but I couldn’t even leave since I paid for my to-go food when I placed the order. Many guests also came to the bar to cancel food as it was taking far too long. Do not recommend."

"Ordered the egg, cheese, and taylor ham sandwich (and breakfast potatoes on the side) and was not impressed. The taylor ham was burnt and, overall, the sandwich did not have much flavor to it. The breakfast potatoes werent anything to write home about, either. I feel bad saying this but, the overall quality of my food was equivalent to hospital cafeteria food. It was decent enough, but I wouldnt personally order from here again."

"Used to love this place but I feel recently gone down hill. Twice I’ve been there drinks tasted like water as if liquor and tequila has been watered down and food was cold when it came out. I’ll still obviously go there but just alittle disappointed. Getting beers from now on."
