"Very much enjoyed our Friday night dinner at Flannel. We got there ~6:30PM, in time for the tail-end of happy hour, so enjoyed an order of piping hot hush puppies for $5.00 with our drinks. (Crackberry Lemonade (crushed fresh blackberries, fresh lemon juice, splash of lime, raw sugar honey was a beautiful purple color and not overly sweet. We moved on to two platters: the Flannel BBQ Brisket (grandma's tender slow roasted brisket, coated in our sweet memphis bbq sauce, served with fries, slaw pickles and The Last Fried Chicken (1/2 chicken, dipped in buttermilk coated in our crispy breading of 13 spices 3 flours, hot, malt waffle, pickles, slaw ranch dressing . The fries and pickled green tomatoes were especially tasty and the rest was solid. Service was friendly and efficient and we appreciated a lovely summer evening on the sidewalk listening to a band play just inside the open front windows. Will definitely return to try more of Flannel's menu!"
