"I read a recommendation for this BBQ place if we ever visit Boone NC. After visiting the Grandfather Mountain, we decided to try this highly recommended restaurant. Our waitress recommended the Heavy Hitter (only 48$ and it comes with 4 sides) which has BBQ brisket, BBQ half side ribs, pulled pork, ham, sausage. The food is absolutely delicious. The brisket melts in the mouth. The ribs are so tender and meaty. The sausage is so juicy. The pull pork is also delicious. The serving side is so big. My husband and I couldn’t finish half of the food. So, we asked for a box to take home the food for the next day. Oh, the side dishes are so delicious too. The sweet potato fries, the hush puppies…. This is the best BBQ place we have visited among many BBQ places in many states. Not only the quality of the food but the unbeatable price and service."
