"The first impression is that the place is well-decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, if you sit down expecting decent service or food that’s more than just barely acceptable, you’ll likely be disappointed. I received my bill shortly after placing my order and well before closing, and it took about 30-40 minutes to get my food while seated at the table.
To make matters worse, there’s a poorly communicated service charge added to the bill, which is calculated after tax. The payment system can be a headache, as the server seemed to struggle with it while prompting me to leave a tip based on a post-service charge amount.
The only redeeming quality was that I actually received my food. Sadly, it was underwhelming. If we’re just talking about food quality—forgetting the prices for a moment—I would have been better off grabbing a hot dog or ice cream from the 7-Eleven next door.
It’s a shame because the location, hours, and overall ambiance have a lot of potential. The only reason to stop by might be for a single mixed drink or a bottled beer (something they don’t have to prepare) if you find yourself in need after all the nearby places have closed."
