"Had a great lunch at Spud’s as we drive through Havre. We were road tripping back home to Minnesota from glacier national park. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they checked in on us about three times to make sure the food tasted alright. All the food was made fresh, and served piping hot. Our food was probably ready within 5 minutes of ordering, so it was quick! Their tots were awesome and their tot sos was super good, somewhat sweet with some heat that builds on the back end! Best of all, their prices were extremely reasonable. Most sammies were in the 6-8 range, and a small pop was .75 I can’t think of a single other restaurant that you can get a pop for under 1!! Fresh beer on tap for 4 isn’t bad either. I think we would have spent about the same amount at McDonald’s for our family of four, and this was SO much better than any fast food you’ll find in Havre or elsewhere. Their manager or owner was super nice, and while we were there he gave a nice gift to one of his employees , which was cool to see. He just seemed like a genuinely nice dude and the staff seemed happy to be there. Overall I’d absolutely recommend Spud’s, it’s not a glamorous place, no frills, but don’t let that fool you, the food is fresh, locally sourced, and delicious!"
