"Ok, so this visit was a slight improvement over my last visit at Nakedfin Poke Bowl but there 's still some concerns I have. Since my wife works very close to Nakedfin Poke Bowl, they 're usually a topic we discuss as a dinner option if we don 't feel like cooking. Their bowls are very good, offer a decent value and give you 3 size options. Last evening, we made the choice to order ahead for pickup, using their online ordering system via their direct website. FOOD: Large Heatwave Bowl, regular-sized, plain salmon and rice poke bowl with soy sauce and a large, custom bowl with tuna, salmon and other toppings. After picking it up and getting home, the food was packed well, still had some chill thanks to Nakedfin 's fridge keeping upon arrival) and tasted good. Not very good or great but good. The reason why this time is that the rice seemed extra, extra sticky to where it was difficult to blend break up inside of the bowl, wasn 't a pleasant consistency to the palate and just seemed a little off in taste. I 'm thinking the rice may have been sitting for awhile and or it was overcooked. The salmon also seemed a little off in a sense of a very fine, thin, slimy-esque coating around the fish and it just didn 't taste very fresh. It did not have a sour, pungent taste or anything to make me cringe but it did have me playing Clue inside of my mouth. My wife said the same but tasted ok enough to blend with the rest of the fresh ingredients and uber sticky rice to mask the salmon texture. As entire bowls, they were good and filling. What came on 3 hours afterward though...was completely unexpected. All of us experienced massive bloating with an excess of gasses. We felt like walking hot air balloons. If you 're familiar with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Fizzy Lifting drinks...that 's exactly what this food did to us last evening. I 'm sorry but there was an epic belching symphony taking place and it wasn 't pleasant. We didn 't get sick and we didn 't feel nauseous but we definitely didn 't feel right. Sludgy? Yeah...that 's about how I 'd say I felt. So...since all 3 of us experienced the same feeling, I can only assume it was 1 of 3 ingredients we all shared, which caused this...the salmon, rice or spicy mayo sauce. Good news is that the veggies were solid and the tuna was much better than the salmon. Not sure what in the hell happened here but it was an adventure. SCORE: 2.3 STARS!! SERVICE: I really enjoyed the time scheduling for online ordering ahead of time. It was easy to use, customize and pay. But...I could not locate anywhere during checkout where I could apply my loyalty program. When I arrived 5 mins prior to my scheduled pickup time, I was promptly greeted with a smile and my order was ready, complete with napkins and chopsticks. When I asked if my order could be applied to my loyalty program, it was just a 2 minute process applied by using my phone number. Other than having to ask, the service was solid and prompt. SCORE: 4.5 STARS!! OVERALL REVIEW: The excessive bloating and burping by all of us last evening was quite the trip. Probably not one I want to take again, though. Service improved by quite a bit over last visit but having to find a workaround for a loyalty program, when not asked about it during food exchange...was a slight inconvenience and I had almost forgotten to ask. The food was a miss for me this time. I 'm using only logic to state my case and point bc everything I described is 100 percent truth. Nakedfin...I really hope we can get back to all cylinders firing again. My last 2 visits have fallen well short of expectations especially the rice and salmon this time) and I want to keep supporting you, badly. But...if I feel like I 'm taking a gamble as to what I 'm going to get for my money and patronage...I may have to reconsider my options going forward. Still love ya, Nakedfin. But this last visit was a bummer again : . 3.4 STARS!!"
